elevated JdfyW Obituary Francesco Leone passed away on October 3, 2023 after celebrating his 88th birthday.
elevated JdfyW Born on October 2, 1935, in Broccostella, Frosinone, Italy, he was the son of Nicola and Giuseppa, the oldest of five siblings Santina, Antonio, Loreto (Maria), and Rosetta.
elevated JdfyW He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Bianca, and his daughters and their partners, Donata (Walter), Patrizia (Tony), and Ornella Pamela (Steven). He was a proud Nonno to his seven grandchildren Anthony (Bridget), Christina (Alex), Giancarlo (Lindsey), Nadia (Daniel), Matthew (Carling), Marissa, and Vanessa, and his four great grandchildren Ava, Alessio, Valerie, and Matteo, and his large extended family.
elevated JdfyW He served in Marina Militare for two years and progressed through the military ranks. He then immigrated to Canada by sea on the Michaelangelo in August 1966 with his wife and two daughters before growing his family with a third daughter in December that year.
elevated JdfyW He was a master of sport shooting, hunting, botany, and fishing. As a member of the Toronto International Trap and Skeet club for over 50 years, he won numerous trophies and accolades and was highly respected among his peers. He passed this passion on to his loving family who followed in his footsteps.
elevated JdfyW He was a certified radio and TV technician, before becoming a concrete finisher to exercise his sporting passions on the weekends with family.

Your dad was an amazing person and as well as our greatest TV repair man, how many trips to Chisholm and laughs on fixing the old black and white set that your poor dad would say “Zio Luigi put this in the garbage it’s not going to work much longer “.🤍
My condolences to Zia Bianca ,Donna,Patrizia,and Ornella and the entire family i remember all the good times i had with Zio Francesco we went hunting every weekend when the season opened i learned a lot from him , he and my father were like brothers they were always together so many meals and memories and a lot of laughter rest in peace Zio say hi to my mom and dad for me love Roberto.

After reading Francesco’s obituary that you provided, I can’t help feel how proud you were of your husband, father, grandfather and friend. He was special and each one of you carry part of him with you.
