elevated 0f7Hh Frank Krajnc, of Mississauga, Ontario, succumbed to cancer on Wednesday, February 6, 2019 at Mississauga Hospital at the age of 69.
elevated 0f7Hh A loving husband, father and grandfather, Frank is survived by his wife of 30 years, Diane (nee Saunders), his children, Adam Newman, Clay (Alyssa) Cook, and Cheryl-Anne Cook, and his adoring grandchildren Cooper, Meadow and Ripley. Brother to Slavica (Slavek) Kavas. Predeceased by his parents, Franc and Rozika Krajnc.
elevated 0f7Hh Born in Slovenia, Frank moved to Canada in 1969 after achieving his carpenter’s certification. An extraordinary roofing contractor, Frank was passionate about motorcycles and travelling with Diane and his lifelong friends, Mirko and Christel Kovac, when he wasn’t hard at work. Frank was always there to take on household projects for relatives and friends; no matter the job, he conquered it all. He enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren in the backyard oasis that Diane and he created, or soaking in their hot tub. Competitive by nature, he loved playing cards, chess, and watching horse racing. He will be forever missed, and always in our hearts.
Diane & Family: We are all so sorry to hear of Frank’s passing. I know all your wonderful memories of Frank will be a comfort to you now, and may it help to know that many thoughts are with you and all in your sorrow. You memories will keep Frank near, comfort you and will help ease the pain. Take care of yourself and each other. Drago & Morian Yagrines and family and Fran (Yagrines) & Bill Aird and family.
I was very sorry to hear of the untimely passing of my cousin, Frank, due to the horrible disease of cancer. I didn’t know Frank very well as our meetings were few but always pleasant. My father, his uncle, liked him very much and always spoke highly of him regarding his generosity and dedication to his family and work. I know he will be missed very much.
Dear Diane and Family, We are very sorry for your loss. Frank was a good neighbour and was a person who always was there for me when I first bought the house. Frank gave me advise on roofing needs and also helped me with just overall maintenance concepts that helped me so much in the beginning. When my daughter was born we visited him in the garage one day and he showed my 2.5 year old daughter his motorcycle…she was amazed. Frank -thank you for your kindness and help you will be missed.
Warmest regards,Mark,Rie and “little” Marieko
