elevated rR2rK Obituary
elevated rR2rK It is with heavy hearts and a profound sense of loss we announce the peaceful passing of Gaetano Petosa on June 18, 2024, at Sunnybrook Palliative Care Hospital, surrounded by his loving family. He is now reunited in Heaven with his beloved wife Maria. Loving father of Carmela (Frank) and Lucy (Rick). Loving brother to Fiorangelo (Dorotera). Proud nonno of Melissa (Denver), Francesca, Maryanne (Anthony), Amanda and Anthony (Amanda). Caring bisnonno to Marco and Giancarlo. Gaetano will be sadly missed and held dear in the hearts of his many extended family and friends. He will be lovingly remembered and never forgotten.
Your thoughts and kindness are truly appreciated during this time of sorrow.
elevated rR2rK In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in honour of Gaetano Petosa can be made to Sunnybrook Hospital, Kidney Foundation or Heart and Stroke Foundation.
I am so deeply sorry for your loss. Your father, mother, along with your entire family, have always been part of some of the happiest memories of my childhood. The many family gatherings, the family trips, the camaraderie of your father and mine…your father was a representative of a beautiful generation of immigrant men who built solid, safe and beautiful lives for their children. He was always kind, always smiling.
God rest his soul. Reunited with his bride, and my dad, and all his loved ones, in heaven with our Almighty Father.
Ecclesiastes 12:7 – And the dust returns to the earth as it was, and the spirit returns to God who gave it.
He will be deeply missed. A kind man with a big heart. Rest in peace.
Guy will be forever missed. He was such a wonderful man, friendly to everyone. We were so fortunate to have known him. Rest in peace.
Our deepest condolences.🙏💕
Riposa in pace.
Our deepest sympathies to you and your family, Guy was great person and wonderful father and grandfather,
We were lucky to know him.
The Haryott Family

One of my generation. Like a family member. Will be missed .

May you find strength and comfort in family and friends during this difficult time.
Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you and the family.
Sil and I extend our deepest condolences at your family’s loss. I always enjoyed his company at each gathering. We both will really miss him…
Dearest Lucy & Carmela & families — what a beautiful man your dad, nonno, bisnonno etc. is! Gaetano served the community & neighbours like his own family — such a caring & devoted man to his friends.
We are so sorry to have been out of town during the services. We are grateful to have known Gaetano and sending love and prayers to the family during this very difficult time.
