To Linda and everyone in Gary’s family, what a huge loss. We have so many fun stories about Gary while working together at the McMichael Gallery for many years. He was meticulous but fun and loved many different things, especially his family. Our sincere condolences from the entire Mlynczyk family
I just found out today of Gary’s passing. Feeling devastation.
We were colleagues and friends. True to form, been thinking about him for weeks. Our bond connected through laughter and all those stories of shared experiences at McMichael. From the first day he started at McMichael, to all the daily upheavals,… to his need to impart his wisdom or Gary-isms jokingly to us and to my last few days when he could not believe I was leaving….. and then to challenging him when he would not listen to anyone but myself. Stubborn, indeed, but I am grateful for his focus to details and sense of character that lead us all. He gave me confidence and I learned not only all about tools but about standing up and contributing as the lone woman of the Technical Services Team. Thank you for all those amazing memories.
Please accept my deepest condolences to Linda and his family.
Hi Pen-i.
Gary always enjoyed working with you. So glad that you submitted your note so that I could respond and thank you for your friendship with Gary. It meant a lot to him.
Thank you Linda. Gary was like a brother and I am sorry I was not aware in time to attend his send off.
There were so many memories that have flooded back that garnered respect and insight into his character. These will sustain me the rest of my journey, providing laughter along the way!
Grateful and blessed to have crossed paths with Gary.
Ha, ha…. If you ever want to hear some of those stories, let me know… got a lifetime’s worth!
Gary was a kind person with a big heart. I will greatly miss our lengthy discussions on many topics, and his friendship. Rest in peace my friend
