elevated DBKpX George’s long and adventurous 93 year journey reached its end as he answered the call of the wild on October 7, 2018, one short month after his beloved sister, Halina, passed. George was a devoted and adored husband to Clara, father to Wanda, Jorge and Carmen, father in-law to Terry, Natalie and Peter, grandfather to Victoria, Michelle, Miguel and Isabel, uncle and brother in-law to many grieving relatives in Poland and Spain.
elevated DBKpX In his lifetime, George lived in 5 countries and spoke 5 languages fluently. The places he called home were Poland, Spain and Canada, he deeply loved all three. He was a life long learner who held a master’s degree in economics and read textbooks and encyclopedia’s for fun. He worked as a civil servant, combining his dedication to civic duty and love of nature and mathematics in a long career as a Manager of Financial Methods in the Ministry of Natural Resources.
elevated DBKpX George, was a thinker and a tinkerer, a music and art lover, an intellectual and a goofball all wrapped up in one lovable package that inspired us all. He will be greatly missed and we will cherish the thousands of wonderful memories left, indelibly, in our hearts.

elevated DBKpX The family will receive friends at the Holy Cross Catholic Funeral Home 211 Langstaff Road (Bayview and 407) from 5-8pm Thursday, October 11. A Mass of Christian burial will take place within the funeral home in the Chapel of St. Joseph on Friday, October 12 at 11:30am. The final rite of committal and interment will take place at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery, family only, while guests have lunch in the reception room.
elevated DBKpX In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Toronto Humane Society, the Canadian Red Cross, Canadian Parks & Recreation Society.
Dearest Wanda, Terry, Victoria, and Michelle,
May happy memories soon give you much comfort. Remembering your father/grandfather as a true gentleman who lived a life of integrity. I have warm memories of him when we were younger, always with a warm and kind smile. With much love to you all, and to Carmen and George and their families.

He was the most important man for his sister Halina from Poland.
She loved him very much till last time of her life 2018 Sept 8th. Exately one month later he passed after her.
I had opprtunity to know him. He had open heart not only for her but for all family. The most imortant were for him grandchildren and two doughters: Carmen and Wanda.
Both of their dughter keeped care for him to the end of his life and mede his life more comfortable, enjoy even with smiling.
