With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Geronimo Valera Lizardo, a devoted husband, father, and grandfather, who left an indelible mark on the hearts of all who knew him. He was 74.

elevated bR474 His family fondly calls him “Emong” and his close friends calls him “Gerry”. Whichever moniker is used, it refers to a man with a vibrant and kind soul. His warm smile could light up any room, and his presence was always met with enthusiasm and affection. He had a remarkable ability to find happiness in every moment and shared that gift with everyone around him.

elevated bR474 He was born in Manila, Philippines. The youngest child of Fernando and Esperanza. He had six (6) siblings: Emilio, Gloria, Alfonso, Norma, Antonio, and Socorro.

elevated bR474 A loving husband to Clemens for 50 years, Emong cherished their life together, filled with love, laughter, and adventure. He was a dedicated father to his two children: Maria Teresa (her husband, Anthony), and Geronimo, Jr (his wife, Wilhelmina Mojet) instilling in them values of kindness, compassion, and resilience.

elevated bR474 As a grandfather, Lolo Gerry will bring with him many cherished moments when he displayed love and affection to his apos, Anne Marguerite, Anne Magdalene, Anne Mathilde and Jerome Francis. His display of unconditional love to his grandchildren is unwavering. His grandchildren adored him, and he took immense pride in their accomplishments.

elevated bR474 While his passing leaves a void in our lives, we take comfort in the memories of his vibrant spirit, generosity, and unwavering optimism. His legacy will continue to inspire us to live life to the fullest, cherish every moment, and find joy in the simple things.
