It is with heavy hearts and a profound sense of loss we announce the peaceful passing of Gilda Bonanno (nee Vinelli) on December 23, 2024, at Humber River Regional Hospital, surrounded by her loving family, just shy of her 86th birthday. Born on December 26, 1938 in Celico, Calabria, Italy to parents Vincenzo and Laura. Reunited in Heaven with her beloved husband Raimondo. Beloved mother of Rosa (Mario), Frank and Emilio (Francesca). Proud Nonna of Gilda (Matthew), Raimondo (Connie) and Mario (Martha). Adored sister of Antonio (Concetta). Gilda will be sadly missed and held dear in the hearts of her many extended family and friends. She will be lovingly remembered and never forgotten.
