So heartbroken to hear this news . Giovanni was the perfect gentleman and friend . He took the time to visit me at my shop anytime he was in the area . I loved to hear his stories from the past and present and he always threw in a joke or two . Sincere condolences to his family and friends . R.i.p. Giovanni .
Condolences to the Aprea family. Giovanni was a wonderful man and always treated me with respect. We will miss his smile and sense of humor. A great loss to the italian community.
Thank you 🙏
He will be greatly missed. Visiting friends, sharing stories, and laughing kept him young. His photography kept him active with a great sense of purpose within the Italian community. The shutdowns were hard on him. He was so excited to be back out taking pictures again. He was a great father.
No matter how old we are, it’s never easy to lose a parent. My thoughts and prayers are with you as you grieve.
My deepest condolences to the Aprea family.
Giovanni was a wonderful man always with a smile on his face.
He’ll be missed.
RIP Giovanni 🙏
Today, I could write about my brother’s life of accomplishments, ventures and interests, but instead, I choose to celebrate him as my brother, a person of heart who wanted nothing more than to love and be loved.
After a lengthy disconnect from each other and a reunion many years later, our unification grew into a relationship of regular gatherings, conversations and personal sharing, celebrations of memories, life’s challenges, pain and recovery and a special bond gifted from God. Somehow, it seems right that in our human imperfections, we can turn to the ones we love and be loved in return only to discover we are all the same. It’s not about the positions of our lives, the money we make or the grandeur of our accomplishments that make us. It is the charity and love that we give and take with a sincere and contrite heart that we expound greatness.
Today, I celebrate John’s life whose heart, with mine, was and is sincere, contrite and filled with a love that is infinite for all the people of and in our lives.
John, you know I love you and I know you love me. This is endless. May God bless you and keep you in His perpetual light and saving grace until we unite again with Him.
Requiem meam Deus vester (God rest your soul),
Adriana
My sincerest condolences to Carmen, Monica and Isidoro. It is especially hard to hear of such news when you have grown up beside him in our neighborhood. He was always chatting with us and loved sharing his stories about his younger times, especially his active/gym fitness regimes. Lol we had some good laughs during Covid, this brought us closer as friends in our community. He will be sadly missed, but we will always remember him , and his smile was infectious. May God give your family strength and patience during your difficult time.
Sincerely Bettina, Nancy, Rocky, Nicholas and Alexander

I extend my deepest condolences to Giovanni’s family. My prayers and thoughts are with you.
Giovanni was a wonderful person. He was always ready, willing and generous with his time any time I called him to photograph special events at the Ciociaro Social Club and my mother’s 100th birthday celebration.
Giovanni will be deeply missed. May he rest in peace among the Angels.
I wish to give my condolences to your entire family. You were a breath of fresh air no matter where are you want. You always made sure that everyone was happy with their pictures and with the whole day and if not you’d make sure that everything went right. You left us too soon too fast. By the way you look fantastic I never thought you were even close to 80 years old. I feel like I’m talking to you now as it hard to believe you’re gone. My heart goes out to your beautiful wife you’re fabulous children and grandchildren
May God give them all strength to get through this as your going to be a very difficult person not to have around anymore. Thank you for all of the beautiful experiences of all the parties that you handled for all of our family. You’re a great man and I will always hold you near my heart. Love Gail DeSimone

My deepest condolences to Melina, Monica and
Isidoro.
As the years have gone by Dom and I have become so much closer to John and Melina.
We would have dinner together at least twice a week and play poker every Saturday night.
He would tell us stories about his younger days in California. Even though we’ve heard them so many times they never got old.
John was a great person, always full of life and always talking.
The last thing I want to say is that Dom and I truly love John.
Rest in peace.
Dom and Josie
