Obituary
It is with heavy hearts and a profound sense of loss that we announce the peaceful passing of Giuseppe Minardi on November 27, 2024 at his residence surrounded by loving family at the age of 54. Loving son of Sebastiano & Sebastiana. Adored brother of Angelo (Catia) and Sal. Caring zio of Sofia and Luca. He will be sadly missed and held dear in the hearts of his many extended family and friends. He will be lovingly remembered and never forgotten. Your thoughts and kindness are truly appreciated during this time of sorrow. In lieu of flowers, for those wishing, memorial donations in honour of Giuseppe Minardi can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
Angelo, my condolences to you and your family for the passing of your brother during this sad and difficult time. Stefan Tomasi of Radio Maria
Joe

Thoughts n prayers are with you all
Rest in peace Joe. We had lots of laughs and good times working together. Even through it all, your ability to stay positive amazed me. No more pain, no more fight. Rest in peace until we meet again. Condolences and prayers for all friends and family who were lucky to have known you.
🌹My deepest condolences to his family and friends. My thoughts and prayers are with you all at this time.
Joe was such a kind soul . We weren’t that close in HS but re-connected on FB. It was there where we had many deep exchanges on the issue of mental health.
He was very giving in offering his advice which I greatly appreciated. After the serious discussions, our talks would inevitably lead to his all out devotion to his beloved Leafs. The talks would cover our discovery of the Leafs as kids and his many prized memorabilia. His passion to his team and in talking openly about mental health is what I’ll forever remember him for besides being a great friend. R.I.P. Joe ❤️🙏
So very sorry for your loss. Praying for you and your family Angelo. A brother’s love is a special thing. In the quiet moments, always remember that he is still with you in spirit. 🙏🏻😔
Sending prayers and strength to your family during this difficult time. My heart aches for your family.

To Angelo and all the family of Joe. We were very shocked to hear of the death of Joe. I worked with him at mbanx many years ago. He was always in a good mood and ready to do a days work. I know he will be greatly missed. But we have confidence in Gods great mercy and love, and Joe now enjoys the fruit of his faith. You are all in our prayers.

Joe,
It feels like we were just sitting in the same class yesterday and walking along the annex with a quick polite nod.
I’m praying you’re not suffering anymore and may you rest in peace.
I am so shocked at this news!. R.I.P my friend, colleague Officer Joe. Heaven gained a kind, lovely and fun Officer. 🥹😥😢
My condolences to Nuccia, Sebastiano, Sal, Angelo, Catia, Joe’s niece and nephew. May God grant peace to all the family during this very difficult tyim.
I’ve known Joe and his family since kindergarten at St Brigid’s. We were together in grade school, high school, Neil McNeil, and University at the University of Toronto. As long as I’ve known Joe, he was a great friend, had a zest for life, loved his homeland Italy and was passionate about his roots in Canada. Joe always cared about those around him, especially his younger brothers and his mom and dad. He loved sports especially his Toronto Maple Leafs. One thing I admired about Joe was that he was compassionate for animals. For a long period of time, he was a vegetarian, and educated us around the benefits of caring for animals and eating our veggies. Joe went back to school to study law enforcement, a passion that he had. His admiration of the Toronto Maple Leafs is one thing I can honestly say was his true love. There isn’t anyone that I know that loves the Leafs as much as Giuseppe; I believe G was one of the biggest fanatics of that team. The only crappy thing is, that they never won the Cup for him!
As much as he loved the Leafs and animals. He loved his family. Joe had a great love for his brothers and mom and dad. He was a great son; a great brother and a great uncle. Joe, I will miss you very much. I still can’t believe that you left us this soon. Please know that WHEN the Leafs win the Cup, I will share a celebratory beverage in your name! Joe, my brother, Rest in Peace.
Angelo,
