Babcia, my sweet and sassy grandmother.
My fondest memories of you are sitting side by side, mugs in hand, (you always did make the most perfect cup of tea) and listening to your endless stories of growing up in Toronto with your brother and sister, or when you went to the Polish dances and fell in love with Dziadzia. I could have listened to you for hours… I’m pretty sure I did.
I remember growing up and coming down for breakfast to find you and Tina sitting at our kitchen table! We begged our mom to let us stay home from school so we could be with you all day, but you always promised you’d still be there when we got back. You always were!
To me, you were the smartest, (knew every Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune answer) kindest, most comforting person I’ve ever known. I felt so special with you. Felt so loved. Your home was and still is a safe haven to me. It’s the place where I feel your love the most. The place I want to go to when I just need to unwind. You were always there with open arms to greet me with that perfect cup of tea, or a freshly opened bag of ketchup chips! Summers in your backyard, or winters sitting by the big window looking at your beautiful tree, are memories I will keep with me forever.
I was so lucky you were able to meet both my children, and leave your imprint on their hearts, just as you did on mine.
I will miss seeing your gentle face, hearing your voice, and touching your incredibly soft hands. I will cherish our special moments together for the rest of my life, and thank God every day for giving me the most perfect grandmother for 35 years. I love you so much my fellow Virgo (September always was the best month!)
Watch over us, as I already know you will.
Sto lat up in heaven Babcia. I love you.
Cyrena
Babcia,
Oh how I miss you so much. I wish we could spend just one more afternoon drinking tea and watching television together. Or walking around the mall and coming out empty handed. Or picking weeds together in your backyard – You’d always end up with such a dark tan and I would be burnt by the end of the day.
I miss our conversations. I miss sitting beside you on your couch and watching the birds land on your tree. I miss eating endless amounts of chips with you. I miss doing puzzles on your dining room table. I miss you.
Thank you for leading by example and being such a great role model to me. I promise to continue to make you proud.
Say hi to Tina and Aldo for us and all of our other loved ones that you’re with now.
Andrew and I love you. You will always have a special place in our hearts.
Love always,
Kelsey
Babcia,
To the most amazing grandmother, we will miss you dearly. I know you will be taken care of in heaven, and reunited with some special family of ours.
I will miss drinking tea at your dinning room table and working on impossible puzzles for hours!
I will miss stealing all the pickles before dinner was ready.
I will miss the polish lessons.
I will miss your spunk, creativity, gentle soul, selflessness, & your banana bread!
kocham Cię & sto lat Babcia! xo
Karli
Pra Babcia,
We love you and will miss you.
Love, Zara and Alessio
I have many memories of my youth doing school projects at the Glebocki home with Deb! Such a warm, loving and happy lady Irene. You always smiled and welcomed me over the years! God Bless you… rest now and be with those loved ones gone before you… love to you and to all those you have left behind! Peg Sutton (Wyatt)

I had the pleasure of meeting Irene on several occasions over the years. She was always a very gracious woman. It was obvious that she truly cherished her family, as they did her.
May the memories of her always bring a smile to your face, and may she always watch over you.
