elevated i0g1B Obituary
Many years ago, a girl repaired the paper balloon of a young boy. The boy experienced such great joy at being helped that when he became a man, he resolved to be kind to others as well. When he grew up, he took in a family that was driven to the streets from their home, gave gifts to every fellow worker at Christmas, and helped a widow cross the ocean with her children for a better life. That young girl never knew her one act of kindness spawned all that. The seed she cast, though it may seem small, would eventually yield big fruits. As a son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, friend, coach, citizen, illustrator, writer, speaker, and even as a hospital patient – generosity, kindness, and wisdom were the hallmarks of the man we called Jaimelito, Kuya Jim, Jimmy, Uncle Mitch, Dad, and Lolo.
