It is with great sadness that we share the passing of our beloved husband and dad, James Patrick Maguire (age 67) who is now resting peacefully.
He will be remembered as a loving husband, devoted father, supportive brother, proud grandfather, and best friend.
Jim loved staying active. His passion developed at a young age, as a triathlete in high school, and carried through to his last days. He lived with a heart condition for most of his adult life but he battled the disease with amazing strength. He lived everyday with determination not to let it keep him from doing things he loved.
He never knew a stranger and always made you feel welcomed. Anyone who truly knew him, knew the size of his heart.
We lost a remarkable man.
Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation in Jim’s honour is greatly appreciated in lieu of expressions of sympathy.

Jim was a beloved part of our family for many years and will be greatly missed by all of us. I have memories of great laughter with him and appreciate what a wonderful friend he was to my Mother.
Jim, you will always be missed.
