elevated z9fQC It is with extremely heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of our beautiful Mother Jane, on Oct. 19, 2023 surrounded by her three daughters. She was an adoring mother to Maria, Rossana (Scott), Joanne (David), and a loving grandmother to; Christina, Joshua, Mariah and Nickolas, and great grandmother to Freya. Jane was the loving wife of the late Vittorio (2009). She was the second daughter in a family of four children; including the late Doris, and surviving siblings, Susan and Tony. Born in Sliema, Malta in 1939, she immigrated to Canada in 1958 and had a successful thirty year career in banking. Our Mother was loved by so many and touched many hearts with her kindness, generosity and compassion. As a Catholic, she was deeply devoted to her faith and guided her through life. Her daughters will miss her indelible strength, great wisdom, sense of humour, and above all, her unconditional love. Jane requested in lieu of flowers that a donation be made to “Society of the Little Flower“.

I am sorry I have lost my friend Jane,
I work with my friend Jane at the cibc for many years,
We had many laughs and there was nothing she would do to help me as I the manager and Jane was my accountant,
We both became after many years working for the bank we went on leave about the same time as we were both very tired 😴
We kept in touch and we meet often for fish and chips for lunch,
The most exciting thing we did was to take some time and we went to spend a couple of hours at the casino,
I could go on and on about all the great times we had together,
We talked last week Jane was ready to go with her husband and heavenly father,
I knew Jane’s family well and loved each of them dearly,
Love this message. Jessie Thank you so much for your beautiful friendship with Mom. We love you.
Jane was a lovely person. Through my sister Carmen and her sister Susan, I managed to meet her a few times. May she rest in eternal peace, for now there’s no more suffering
I met Jane through my Mom (Val’s) friends: Ale, Gloria & Jean. Jane was always so kind to me, and always had such a loving and compassionate heart. And I remember that she was funny, and seemed to like that I appreciated that. Thank you so much, Jane, and please rest in the peace of our Eternal Lord and Saviour.

We will miss our friend Jane. For many years, Jane worked as a volunteer caregiver at Malton Village LongTerm Care. Then, as a resident herself, as weak as she came to be, she continued to care for those she considered to be less fortunate than her.
Joanne, Rossana & Maria,
(to Susan and Tony as well),
Our deepest sympathies to you and your families.
That is a beautiful picture of your mother and it is how I remember her all those years ago. Her smile, her kindness, her sense of humour and her love for her family; always happy to welcome our family to her home.
A mother’s love is the greatest love and I’m sure each one of you share her beautiful qualities. She will always be within you.
May she rest in peace and may you find comfort in the love she passed on, and in each other.
Sincerely,
Cheryl & Mike
