It is with sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved daddy. Darling Jack passed away at home with mummy by his side at the age of 87.
elevated C0TsJ Jack (parents Sebastiana Pereira and Dennis Fernandes) is survived by his beloved wife Ivy Fernandes (nee D’Souza) through 58 years of marriage and 64 years of friendship. Together they raised three beautiful children; Cheryl (Mark), Tatiana (Adrian), Karen (Ali). Cherished grandad to Adam, Sean & Sasha, brother to Tony (Edna) and uncle and cousin to many.
elevated C0TsJ Our Jack lived a full and varied life in Dubai, UAE and Toronto. Throughout his life, he never stopped learning and pursuing his interests, whether in business, art, music or a variety of other topics. Jack was often the life of the party. He adored his people and spread his infectious joy de vivre for all in his company. A devoted husband, father and grandfather we will miss you forever. Thank you for everything.

My brother’s passing has brought deep sadness to our family. He was a bright spirit, full of wit, humor, and kindness. I will always remember his jokes, wisdom, and the love he showed us all. He was a hardworking and dedicated man who did so much for the family.
This is a difficult time, but together we can find comfort in the sweet memories he left behind. I send my heartfelt condolences to his wife and my sister-in-law Ivy, their daughters, and grandchildren. May Jack’s beautiful memories soften our grief and bring us peace. His life, lived with greatness, will always be remembered.
