The world has now become a much sadder place. The legend that was John Blair now looks down upon us from heaven above. He touched our hearts like we can never explain, and our lives will now no longer be the same. No more laughter, no more smiles, no more words of wisdom and no more ranting at the TV!!
He truly was a wonderful, immensely loved uncle and certainly one in a million. He was the one and only John Blair after all!!

To Isobel, Denis, Maxine, John and all the family, I want to express my sorrow for your loss. While Isobel and I were studying nursing in Montreal, I remember visiting the family and being warmly welcomed by both John and Irene. Your dad had a great sense of humor and a twinkle in his eyes that I will never forget. No matter how old are parents are, it is never easy to say goodbye.
