Aunt Josie, you and Uncle Alfred had a huge impact on my childhood. I will never forget the attention you paid me simply because you were my godparents. I was a fairly shy and awkward child in a family of gregarious confident older siblings (at least they seemed so to me) and you made me feel special. I remember being no more than three or four and riding in the back seat of your car holding a doll that you had given me. I loved that doll for years and years and it always made me think of you. I will always remember the sound of your voice and your laugh. Thank you for being such a wonderful aunt to me. Rest easy now with Alfred.
Our sincere condolences to Randy, Michelle and Darlene. I have fond memories of Alfred, Josie, Darlene and Randy visiting us on Homelands Dr. We always looked forward to spending time with them. It was a big event in our home! I also ran into Josie in the elevator of her building when I was a visiting nurse! Surprise! My Aunt Lorna used to run into her at the casino! Lol
Condolences to Randy .Dar & Family..The sweet lady is finally at rest in the arms of god.
Dearest Josie, you were always such a special sister to me. You always had an answer when I called. You will forever be in my heart. I will miss you so much but I know you are happy to be back in Alfred’s arms. Huggs and kisses to you both. Xxoo
Much love and condolences to Darlene and Randy and family.
I knew Josie through Dar, and her utmost admiration and love for her daughter was so clear. Dar’s zest certainly comes from her mother.
Much love.
Our deepest condolences to Darlene and Randy. Jose God has another beautiful Angel to look over all of us. Forever in our hearts love Mae Wedge and family may you rest in peace.
Deepest condolences to Randy, Darlene and Michele.
My earliest memories of aunt Josie were of her in a convertible with Alfred. She always had her hair done, was well dressed and joined at the hip with Alfred. She really represented a young woman who had fun, freedom and independence. That was not something I had seen for women.
She was always feisty. I can remember clearly the sound of her laugh. She held her own. No shrinking violet there. She loved her kids. She loved a good laugh. But mostly she loved Alfred. She has been waiting to be back with him, since the day he died. And now she is.
Dearest Darlene, Randy, and family,
Sending you our love and deepest sympathy. May God be your peace, strength and comfort.
Dar, you are an amazing woman and have made your Mom proud. Keep strong, dear friend.
Much love,
Lisa and Bernie

Our deepest condolences to Randy, Michelle and Darlene. Seeing Alfred and Josie each summer when they’d come with their kids for PEI visits showed everyone how important family was to them. Josie was an amazingly strong, fun-loving, energetic, family-oriented woman. She was a force to be reckoned with.
