   Dear Mrs. Marija and Ms. Rosie,

   Upon receiving the sad news of your husband and father Jure’s passing, I would like to extend my sincere condolences to you and your extended family.

   His lengthy illness was certainly a heavy cross for him to bear, and watching his health deteriorate was undoubtedly a heartbreaking experience for both of you. Yet, your closeness to him during his infirmity united you to each other in an even stronger bond of love, which will assist you now and as you look towards the future with faith and courage.

   Jure’s soul is now in God’s hands. May God, our heavenly Father, grant him eternal rest and the reward of his chosen ones in heaven. To you and your family that are grieving, may the Lord of life graciously grant you divine consolation and also strengthen your faith in the resurrection of the body and everlasting life!

   Pokoj vječni daruj mu Gospodine, i svjetlost vječna svijetlila njemu. Počivao u miru.
   Duša njegova i duše svih vjernih mrtvih, po milosrđu Božjem počivale u miru! Amen!

   I will offer a Holy Mass on Thursday for the repose of Jure’s soul and will also remember you in my prayers as well. May God bless you all!
