elevated Rialw It is with deep sorrow and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Katica Cvitko, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and cherished member of our Croatian family, at the age of 91. She passed away peacefully on March 12, 2025

elevated Rialw Born in Croatia on December 2, 1933, Katica was a woman of remarkable strength, kindness, and grace. As soon as she immigrated to Toronto (1958) she became involved in the Croatian community by teaching folklore, leaving behind a legacy of love, wisdom, and cherished memories.

elevated Rialw She was the loving wife of Vlado, with whom she shared a life filled with devotion, joy, and companionship. Together, they built a beautiful life that spanned many years.

elevated Rialw Throughout her life, she had a deep love for her homeland and carried her Croatian heritage proudly. Her warmth, hospitality, and nurturing spirit touched the lives of all who knew her.

elevated Rialw Katica is survived by her husband Vlado, daughter Lidija, granddaughter Mirna, grandson Damjan and extended family members and friends who will miss her dearly.

elevated Rialw Dear Staff at Sheridan Villa, thank you for the care and support you provided during her time with you. Your compassion and dedication, and kindness brought comfort to her in a time of need.

elevated Rialw Her memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who loved her. May she rest in peace.
