Katica Markovic
It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of our beloved mother Katica Markovic who passed away peacefully on July 10, 2022 after a short illness. She will be greatly missed by her beloved family: sons Rob (Robi) and Joe (Joi), daughter in law Dijana and her grandchildren Joshua, Kristina and Dominik as well as her extended family and numerous dear friends.
She was the woman with big heart always willing to help anyone in need, loved to have good times and treasured a good feast. She was known for her famous question “ARE YOU HUNGRY?”, you could never leave her house without something to eat. She enjoyed cooking and we all enjoyed eating it. She cherished her summers up north at her trailer, watching her favourite TV shows and most of all talking on the phone with friends and family. In this day and age with texting and cell phones, she was the one picking up her landline and giving you a quick call to cheer you up or just have a nice, caring, meaningful conversation and let you know that she is there for you.
After a life of health complications and struggles she is no longer in pain, she moved to a better place.
RIP 🙏🏻… until we meet again.
