Aunt Lorraine, Kelly and Karen,
At 18yrs old I started a “summertime” job with a plumbing company. I only worked for 6 months before being laid off. In those times I couldn’t even get a job delivering pizzas. One day uncle Ken called and asked me, did I still want to be a plumber? I said yes, he then told me, be at Bloc Mechanical for 5:30 Monday morning. I got up early that Monday and drove to Jane and HWY 7.
After completing my apprenticeship and working as a plumber for over 20yrs, I had the opportunity to move to Plumbing Inspections. I have spent the last 20yrs as a plumbing inspector. He got me that job at Bloc Mechanical, and will never forget that phone call.
