It is with heavy hearts and a profound sense of loss that we announce the peaceful passing of Lisa Lynn Franchi on March 24, 2025, surrounded by her loving family, at the age of 53.
elevated esc9S Lisa was the beloved wife of Nello Matarazzo for 27 happy years, a devoted and nurturing mother to Samuel and Sophia, and a cherished daughter of Franco and Nicolina. She was the loving sister of Danielle (Joe) and a proud and adoring aunt to their two sons, Nicholas and Andrew. Lisa’s love knew no bounds, and she embraced her role as a wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend with unwavering dedication and warmth.
elevated esc9S To know Lisa was to feel truly seen and valued. She had an incredible ability to make everyone feel important, to celebrate the successes of others as if they were her own, and to bring light even in the darkest moments. Her radiant smile lit up every room she entered, and her presence brought genuine kindness and laughter to all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her care for everyone around her and her excitement for life were truly inspiring. Lisa has left a lasting impact on the hearts of those she touched, even those who crossed her path for just a moment.
elevated esc9S Lisa’s compassionate spirit was the foundation of her life. She found her greatest fulfillment in caring for those around her, always ensuring that her family and friends felt supported and loved. She had a deep love for travelling the world – taking vacations with her family, and creating cherished memories in beautiful places. Yet, she was equally happy staying at home in the house she lovingly built alongside Nello, filling it with warmth, laughter, and unconditional love for their children. She lived with immense gratitude, appreciating every moment and every person who made her life so special. Though she left us too soon, her legacy of sincere love, endless kindness, and joyful laughter will continue to inspire the many lives she enriched.
