God called Lucia peacefully on March 6, 2025 at the age of 86. She is now reunited with her loving husband, Antonio, her beloved parents, Cesidio and Santa, and her dear siblings, Elizabetta (Luisina) and Donato.

elevated lB638 Lucia was born in Roccamorice, Abruzzo, Italy on November 7, 1938 and registered on November 11, 1938. She moved to Canada on March 11, 1962 to marry Antonio and raise her family. Family was the reason for Lucia’s existence. There was very little she wouldn’t do or offer to her loved ones. Although she was very shy and reserved, when she was well, Lucia was always concerned about and open to her family and friends, often offering a home cooked meal made from scratch or homemade cookies, especially her famous pizzelle.  

elevated lB638 She will be cherished by her children, Silvana and Rina, and adored grandson, Tristan. Lucia also leaves behind her dear siblings Angiolina, Donato and Antonio, as well as her in-laws, Maria, Donato, Anna and Giovanni. She also leaves her nephews, nieces and dear friends behind.

elevated lB638 There are no words to describe our profound loss, dear Mamma. We will carry on with your love in our hearts, the priceless morals and lessons you taught us, and precious memories we will forever cherish. You left with part of our hearts. Until we are once again reunited, rest in peace dear Mamma.
