It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Maria Assunta Mancuso on March 25, 2024 at the age of 88, she peacefully concluded her journey embraced by the love, solace, and nurturing care of those who held a special place in her heart. Born to Giuseppina and Vincenzo Pignatone of San Cataldo (CL), Sicily, Italy on Dec 28th, 1935.

elevated PaE1U She is now reunited in heaven with her loving husband Salvatore. She was the loving mother of Sylvia, Josie (Massimo), Maria Rita (Enzo), and the late Stefano. The proud grandmother of Daniele (of whom she was also the Godmother), Dalila, Morena, Michael, Joseph and the great grandmother of Beatrice.

elevated PaE1U A woman deeply devoted to her faith in God has molded her life according to the principles of Catholic teachings, displaying a significant love for her family. Embracing the sacrifices together with her husband Salvatore, she endeavored to build a more promising future for themselves and their children. With a gentle grace,  she dedicated herself wholeheartedly to her loved ones. She selflessly prioritizes their well-being, nurturing them with boundless love, patience, and understanding. Her actions are guided by her faith, instilling in her family the values of compassion, forgiveness, and gratitude. 

elevated PaE1U Dedicated to the arts of cooking, embroidery, and knitting, she has demonstrated exceptional skill in creating authentic masterpieces, ranging from fine linens and embroidered works to delightful culinary dishes.

elevated PaE1U Her unshakeable faith in God, coupled with a deep love for her family, defines the essence of Maria Assunta’s legacy. Her life stands as a testament to the simple yet powerful message she leaves behind: “Smile! Persist in living, loving one another.”

È con profonda tristezza che annunciamo la scomparsa  di Maria Assunta Mancuso il 25 marzo 2024, all’età di 88 anni, ha concluso serenamente il suo viaggio circondata dall’amore, dalla consolazione e dalle cure affettuose di coloro che occupavano un posto speciale nel suo cuore. Nata da Giuseppina Cammarata e Vincenzo Pignatone di San Cataldo (CL), il 28 dicembre 1935 a San Cataldo (CL), Sicilia, Italia.

elevated PaE1U Ora è riunita in cielo con il suo amato marito Salvatore. È stata la madre amorevole  di Sylvia, Josie (Massimo), Maria Rita (Enzo) e del compianto Stefano. Orgogliosa nonna di Daniele (di cui era anche la madrina), Dalila, Morena, Michael, Joseph e della pronipote Beatrice.

elevated PaE1U Una donna profondamente devota alla sua fede in Dio ha plasmato la sua vita secondo i principi dell’insegnamento cattolico, mostrando un grande amore per la sua famiglia. Affrontando sacrifici insieme al marito, ha cercato di costruire un futuro più promettente per entrambi e per i loro figli. Con un amore smisurato, si è dedicata anima e corpo ai suoi cari. Si è dedicata altruisticamente al loro benessere, nutrendoli con amore e  grande  fede infondendo nella sua famiglia i valori della compassione, del perdono e della gratitudine.

elevated PaE1U Dedicata alle arti culinarie, all’uncinetto e al lavoro a maglia, ha dimostrato un’eccezionale abilità nel creare autentici capolavori, che spaziavano dalle fini biancherie e opere ricamate a pietanze deliziose.

elevated PaE1U La sua fede incrollabile in Dio, unita ad un profondo amore per la sua famiglia, definisce l’essenza del lascito di Maria Assunta. La sua vita rimane come testimonianza del semplice ma potente messaggio che lascia dietro di sé: “Sorridete! E vogliatevi bene!”
