Lots of wonderful memories as a child coming over with my family. Seeing Zia Assuta and my Mom numerous times dancing to the Tarantella is implanted in my brain forever. The smiles were on everyone’s faces.
Several years ago (pre pandemic) we were fortunate to have many Family Picnics. The Tarantella didn’t stop, nor the smiles. The many pictures and videos taken are even more to cherish today.
Zia Assunta was one of a kind. Always welcoming. What I especially love was how she grew attached to Tracy (now my Wife) when I introduced her to the whole family (I believe it was at our first picnic up in Earl Row Park) . I first thought it was because Tracy bribed her with homemade biscotti’s but then knew it was her warm personality to always make everyone feel comfortable 🙂
Our deepest condolences for your loss. We will miss her very much

My heartfelt condolences to your family. She was such a beautiful hospitable person full of energy and zest for life.. The Bible describes a future time when death will be no more, neither will morning Nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The problems that make life seem hopeless today such as sickness and death will no longer exist. Very soon the last enemy death is to be brought to nothing… Take courage…
We will see her again
