Joe, Carlos, Grace and Filomena,
I’m sorry to hear of your mom’s passing. Your mom was such a friendly person who welcomed me into her home whenever I visited her with Alice. What I remember most is how talented she was. How I admired all of her handiwork creativity. She knew I appreciated looking at all of her finished work and would show me her latest creations whenever we stopped by- first at her house when your dad was there and then at her retirement place. She had so much knowledge of Portuguese tradition….stories of the past, how to bake Portuguese dessert, but I will always hold to memory her proud displays of her finished traditional Portuguese crocheted handiwork- from blankets to doilies. So beautiful to look at when done.
I will miss your mom’s gentle lovely smile.
My condolences to each of you as well as to your dear families.
My deepest sympathies for the loss of your beloved Mother and Grandmother and Great-grandmother. Mrs DaCosta was a tremendously loving and generous woman with such positive energy. She made my life better and brighter with her kindness and beautiful presence. May she rest in perfect peace.
You have my sincere condolences on your loss of mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Hold tight to memories for comfort.
