It is with heavy hearts and a profound sense of loss we announce the peaceful passing of Maria Merita De Vasconcelos on December 3, 2024. She passed at her residence, surrounded by her loving family, at the age of 101. Reunited with her beloved husband João Martinho. Loving mother of Candi (Joe). Proud avó of Joelle (Billy) and Jayde (Emily). Cherished bisavó of Harley and Owen. Dear sister of survived siblings, Nizete and Fernão. She is also now reunited with her siblings Alvaro, Vanda, Noemi, Alfredo, Abel, Abílio, João, and AnaPaula as well as her loving parents Francisco João and Maria Bela. Maria Merita will be sadly missed and held dear in the hearts of her many extended family and friends. She will be lovingly remembered and never forgotten.
