Marija (Maria) Divic
It is with extremely heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Maria Divić on the morning of Thursday, March 28, 2024 at the age of 73. Ante, her loving husband of 55 years will continue their work of supporting and bringing joy to their three sons Vlatko (Sook), Anthony (Ursula) and Matko. She will join Mate and Zorka Nejasmić, her predeceased Father and Mother in heaven. Maria also leaves behind her siblings Danica (Mladen), Jozo (Elizabeth), Božo (Jadranka), and Ivica (Anita) and their families whom she forever loved. Her extended Divić family of Vlado and Tone (both deceased), Dinko (Nede), Anđelko-deceased (Marija), Neda (Ljubo–deceased), Mate (Danica), Ivan, Jozo (Katica–deceased) and their families are also a lifelong contribution to her joy.
For all her Friendships, she was always grateful for the good times.
Maria will be remembered by all for her unselfish nature, her love of the Dalmatian coast and music as well as her love of cooking and baking – leading to her discovery of no-sugar no-fattening muffins. Throughout her life struggles, she maintained a positive attitude and happy disposition.
In lieu of flowers, we ask that a donation be made to Sunnybrook Foundation which was instrumental in her extended time on earth over 35 years ago.

The viewing and funeral will be held at Assumption Catholic Cemetery located at 6933 Tomken Rd, Mississauga, ON L5T 1N4.
Viewing will be held on Thursday April 04 from 4:00PM to 8:00PM
Funeral mass will be held on Friday April 05 starting at 11:00AM with burial ceremony to be held afterwards.

Duboko krščansko saučešće svima ožalošćenima tužnim rastankom od drage, dobre, brižne moje kume Marije. Usnula je u Gospodinu blaženim snom mira u sveti dan, u korizmi. Uskrsno je vrijeme i Krist naš uskrsli Spasitelj poručuje svoj ljubljenoj Djeci Božjoj da se Usnulima život ne oduzima već mijenja. Mi vjerujemo da je Duša drage Marije na krilima Anđela ponesena u krilo Svevišnjega gdje se i mi nadamo kad se dovrši naše putovanje u vremenu, u ovoj suznoj dolini, radovati se ljepoti Lica Božjega, u sve vijeke vjekova. Amen
