elevated kqT7n Mario D’Astoli passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Monday, April 15 at 89 years old. Cherished by his wife Eleonora (nee Iovino) and loving children Pasqualina (Rocco), Giuseppe (Mary) and Antonio (Carmela). Proud grandfather to Vincenzo (Amanda), Concetta (Ralph), Francesca (Artem), Mario (Preya), Gianmarco, Milena, Matteo, David and Victoria and great grandfather to Nicholas, Mia, Maya, Angeliyah, and Michael. He is survived by his siblings Umberto (Margherita), Pasquale (Gina) and Franco (Laura) and siblings-in-law Clara and Gerardo.
elevated kqT7n Mario came to Canada from Cosenza, Italy looking for a better life. He opened up King Bakery in Toronto with his wife in 1961 and enjoyed a longstanding living as an entrepreneur and baker. He truly enjoyed baking traditional treats and remained active in the bakery until his final years of life. He loved his family dearly and loved making people smile with his endless jokes. He will be deeply missed.
