elevated zNg1Y Mary passed peacefully after a full life on January 13, 2022 in her 109th year. Mary, a retired employee of The Hospital for Sick Children, is predeceased by her parents William and Margaret McMonagle, her brother Bill McMonagle (Ruth), her sister Peggy Heffernan (Jack) and her youngest sister Bella Moore (Gilbert). Mary was a special and beloved Aunt to many generations and will be fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews and their extended families. Mary’s wit and charm endeared her to everyone she met and she inspired all who knew her with her kindness and determination. A special note of appreciation goes to her family at Harmony Hills Community Care who cared for her and laughed with her for the past 21 years. Their support during the pandemic has been well beyond the call of duty. The Funeral Mass will be held in the chapel at Holy Cross Funeral Home on Tuesday January 18, 2022 at 1:30 pm with livestream available below. The mass will be immediately followed by internment at Holy Cross Cemetery.
