elevated Uhx9t It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Mary Rossetti-Longarini on October 29, 2024, at the age of 64. Loving wife to Joe. Proud mother to Michael (Jenna), Zachary (Olivia) and Jessica. Loving Nonna to Evan, Levi, Aria, Darian and Violet.
elevated Uhx9t A deeply caring woman and someone who valued helping others over her own needs, she pursued every challenge in life with compassion and determination to help. Her selflessness was no better seen than through the love and sacrifice she gave to her children and extended family. A love fashioned by the shining example her parents, Pasquale and Dolores, immigrants to Canada, strived to create with their new life. From driving to countless sporting events, multi generational family dinners or just words of guidance, she would never shy from doing or saying what was needed to help someone she loved (whether they wanted to hear it or not!).
Her smile warmed the heart of everyone she met. Mary will be sadly missed and held dear in the hearts of her many extended family and friends. She will be lovingly remembered and never forgotten.
elevated Uhx9t In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in honour of Mary Rossetti-Longarini can be made to Waves of Changes for Autism. A charity she worked closely with in the Vaughan Community.

I am heartbroken at the loss of Mary. I know that my medical training insisted on treating every patient the same, but I know in my soul that Mary was one of my favourites. May her memories be for a blessing on the entire family .

I’m heart broken to hear about the passing of Mary. From the moment I met Mary at York U I knew I was meeting a special person. I was fortunate enough to receive some of her wisdom. My condolences to the family. You are in my prayers during this very difficult time.

I am so sorry to hear of Mary’s passing. She was so young, but now her Angels are near. I was fortunate to have worked with Mary for a few years at York, and truth be told, Mary put as much heart and soul into her work as she with her family. I didn’t know Mary well but I know her son, Michael. A man of great integrity, vision and kindness. If he is any testament to Mary’s character, I am simply blown away. What an amazing woman, to have dedicated time to groups with special needs and to have raised such a loving family. My deepest condolences to the Longarini family for an enormous loss. I just learned of Mary’s passing and am saddened I was not able to attend and offer her family my deepest condolences. Mary was my right hand at York. She was a brilliant force of nature. I was so honoured and happy to have her in my court. I’m sorry I lost touch over the years. Mary loved her family dearly and I enjoyed her family stories. One of my favourite was Joe coming home with a giant wreath for Christmas decor. What ever became of that? Sending prayers to the family during this difficult. RIP my friend.

Not only was Mary very dedicated to her job, she was also a kind and caring person. I will always remember when Mary arranged a TFC game time experience for my son through her daughter Jessica.
