He was a caring, responsible and great dad. To his brothers, sisters, their respective families, relatives and friends, Maximo Bolido became the backbone of their faith in God. He was the founder of their Prayer Meeting and Fellowship. He shared a lot of spiritual strength, love, faith and hope. He is now in a better place and we will miss him profoundly.’

My Eulogy for my big bro Nonoy.
Who would have thought that a brother lost for many years in our sight and yet been found, will make a great impact to our family. Simply because God has a purpose for his life. Back then, I didn’t understand what happened and why it did happened but God had allowed us to be parted and be reunited once again for His greater purpose for my big bro Nonoy’s life. He left us with a good legacy by being a father, a brother, and a friend to us all. His spiritual ministry has brought us near to God because of his powerful testimony of miraculous healing power. He is the light and comfort to his love ones here in the Philippines.
Big bro plays an important role in our family, our siblings. He is our spiritual adviser, counselor, peacemaker, defender, encourager, and most of all, the founder of our virtual small group fellowship and prayer meeting twice a week for more the 6 years. He became the backbone of our spiritual faith in God. He constantly reminded us to trust and have faith in God. He shared his life testimony and taught us with eagerness to be closer to Jesus.
I considered big bro as my best friend. We bully and make fun of each other somtimes. Our lighthearted banters are one of my favorite memories with him. He often calls me as his “little big sister”. Maybe I was his favorite sister lol.
Our family truly respect every wise decisions, advice, and plans he made for us because he is fair and equal.
Big bro Nonoy, we thank you for everything you’ve done for all of us. Your unfailing love is felt even from a long distance. So long dearest brother, you’ve fought the good fight. Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith would definitely be glad to see you. I imagine him saying “I know you, Nonoy. Well done, my faithful child. Come now, you’ll never have to wipe your tears or feel pain ever again. Rest in me”
You’ll always be in our hearts as you enter eternal life with Almighty God. Rest now in His loving presence. Rest assured that we will continue whatever you’ve started in our fellowship.
Lastly, to the family, Ate Jo, Jolibelle ,Marlo, Macky, Jouise, and Marco,. may the Lord embrace you with his comfort and peace in these trying times. May God fills you in areas where you need Him the most. Your families here in the Philippines are always available if you ever need a hand or anything at all. We will continue to include you in our loving prayers. God bless you all.
2 Timothy 4:7-8
I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day, and not to me only but also to all who have loved His appearing.
I’ll be missing you big Bro. You’ll always be in my heart forever. I thank you for everything. We Love you.
“those days when I was so down and you lifted me”
Today, we gather to honor the memory of my beloved uncle Nonoy. He was more than family; he was a guiding light in our lives. His kindness knew no bounds, and his wisdom was a beacon of strength. He lived with integrity, compassion, and a deep love for all those around him. Though he is no longer with us, his spirit lives on in the countless lives he touched. Uncle, your presence will be deeply missed, but your legacy of warmth and generosity will forever remain in our hearts.
