Rob & The D’Ambrosio Family,
I am so very sorry for the loss of Melissa. I had the pleasure of meeting her at grad school when she frequented my shared house with Janna, often sharing in our friendly OT vs. PT rivalry. Later I had the fortune of standing up in Janna’s wedding with Melissa. She was a good friend to many and always spoke fondly of Rob, her family, and her friends. Her love for all of you was evident. I will miss crossing paths with her and will remember her always for the amazing person she was.
Take good care,
Natalie Hunt

Gino (and your entire family). I have started this message so many times and found it difficult to find words. There are none. We all know this and/so the best we can do is wrap our friendship and love around you and your family and friends. I found myself reading her obituary over and over. While I didn’t know her at all… I know YOU Gino and you are one of the kindest, most professional, patient, tolerant and genuinely sincere and down to earth people I know… and/so it’s no surprise that the words spoken above reflect a beautiful soul who reflects the foundation of how she grew up. No doubt it was because of her life sorrounded by you and your wife and your family. She smiles because of that love. We’re sure it will be devestating to speak in the past tense but I hope you can see all these messages of love and hope and friendship. We will all say prayers to give you and your family peace and courage. We have to believe in God and a higher calling // Find her signs. I’m sure she’ll send them every day to remind you she is here with you still. To her fiancee… I don’t know you but I hope you’ll carry her beautiful smile in all you do. To her siblings…gather around each other and may you find strength in her 31 years here to carry you through. Believe in hope. Her smile is so beautiful. Shine bright. Your friend Cathy Ciccolini

In thinking about your loss, we would like to leave you with theses words of the poet Ellen Brenneman;
“We can’t know why the lily has so brief a time to bloom in the warmth of sunlight’s kiss upon its face before it folds into its fragrance and bids the world good night to rest its beauty in a gentler place. But we can know that nothing that is loved is ever lost and no one who has touched a heart can really pass away because some beauty lingers on in each memory of which they’ve been a part.”
In Sincere Friendship, Maryanne and Joseph Piplica
To all of Melissa’s family
I was lucky enough to work closely with Melissa and in our last exchange she said that I was awesome and what would she do without me. All I did was mail information to a patient. She was so kind and a joy to be around. I complimented her on her picture that we started wearing since starting to wear masks at work. She thanked me and said that she might as well use it as it was her professional head shot. She was beautiful inside and out. I will miss her.
Gino, Cheryl and family. We are so saddened to hear of the devasting loss of Melissa. Please know we are holding you in our thoughts and hearts and we are here for you if there is anything we can do.
Jeff and I will never forget the joy on melissa’s face every time she came over and played with the kids. It was always so clear to us how much she loved children and how much they adored her right back. We will never forget her thoughtfulness and the countless (and delicious) meals that her and rob brought over to our house during COVID isolation to help our family through this very difficult year. It is rare to have known someone so beautiful both inside and out. Our heartfelt condolences go
out today to Melissa’s family and to our dearest friend, Rob Enouy. Thinking of all of you today as we try to process this devastating loss.
May she Rest In Peace.
Love, Jeff, Steph, Jack and baby Alexis

To the entire D’ambrosio family and Rob,
I am so deeply sorry for your loss. I was shocked and saddened to hear of the news. I met Melissa during high school and she quickly became a good friend. Although we drifted apart in the years following high school we still occasionally got together (usually over sushi) and every time we would pick right back up where we left off. She was a good friend and a beautiful person inside and out and will be greatly missed.
Dear Gino & Family,
My deepest and heartfelt condolences goes out to you and your loved ones. Words truly cannot express the loss of such a beautiful life taken too soon. I pray that you find the strength and love within each other to carry you through these difficult times. May her soul rest in peace.
Gino,
I am deeply saddened by the news of the passing of your daughter. My sincere condolences to you and your family. My thoughts are with you during this difficult time.
Dear Rob and the D’Ambrosio family.
I wanted to reach out and extend our sincerest condolences to everyone on behalf of myself and my colleagues. Melissa was one of the first people I hired when I opened Balance Physiotherapy West almost 10 years ago. She walked in and asked to volunteer and it wasn’t long after I realized I couldn’t let her do that – she was too good. After she graduated from Physiotherapy at Queen’s we were quick to hire her back as a full-time physiotherapist.
Melissa is one of the strongest physiotherapists that I have ever worked with. Her professionalism was next level and she exceeded all expectations we ever discussed. She was a superstar providing the best care possible with an incredibly challenging population. She will be missed.
Our thoughts are with everyone in this challenging time. Sending lots of love and prayers.
To the D’Ambrosio family please accept our heartfelt condolences. We are deeply saddened by the loss of Melissa. Over the past 7 years we came to know her as the beautiful, caring and kind person she was. We saw how happy she and Rob made each other. They were a beautiful couple. She truly was a part of our family and we all loved her deeply. We will miss her so very much.
Sincerely, Judy, Floyd, Sarah, Steve, Natalie, Geoff, Hailey, Mya, Jude and Stella.
To the D ‘Ambrosio family we are so saddened by the loss of your beautiful Melissa. Our thoughts are with you during this Challenging time. Our most Sincere condolences.

Andrea,
You and your entire family are in my heart and in my thoughts. I am so deeply sorry for your loss. I know what a close bond you and Melissa shared. I remember all the travel adventures you would come back from and share with me how special they were because Mel was there to experience them with you.
While no words can take away your grief, I hope you can find some comfort in each other. Melissa will live on in your hearts and in all the hearts of those she has touched through her years. Sending love and prayers to all of you during this time. xoxo
We would like to offer our most sincere condolences to Rob and his family as well as to Melissa’s family for their tragic loss. We were devastated at the news of her passing. We didn’t know her well since we had only spoken to her a few times. She came across as a very kind, generous and loving person. Our daughter Stephanie and her husband Jeff were very close friends with her and Rob. Steph & Jeff were extremely thankful for the help they received from Rob & Melissa during this COVID-19 crisis. We will share their grief as we mourn the loss of a dear friend. Our memories of Melissa will forever endure in our hearts and we will miss her dearly.
I’m so sorry to hear this. Growing up on the soccer field with Melissa was such a privilege. I have fond memories being part of the Vipers with Melissa for those sweet years as kids, getting sunburnt and getting dirty, and winning lots of games!
In high school at HNM, we became friendly competitors for athlete of year… of which Melissa ultimately won over me haha. She deserved it.
I’ll always remember her gentle personality and big, beautiful smile.
Sending love to the D’Ambrosio family.
