After a courageous battle, our beloved son, brother, uncle and friend passed away peacefully on September 21, 2022. He is the beloved son of Mariana and the late Joao De Almeida. Dear brother of Antonio, John (Senhourinha), and Joseph (Fabian). Cherished uncle to Christina, Jennifer, Sarah, John Jr, and Elizabeth and great nieces Lillian and Evelyn. Predeceased by his father Joao and his nephews John-David and David. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations made to the Lung Association or CAMH would be appreciated by the family.

When a cousin passes away it’s time of real sadness and hurt for the whole family. I feel blessed to have known my cousin Michael. His memory will live on in all of us. God bless you my beautiful Michael, RIP.
I was fortunate to have great memories with Michael, everytime we met he was always loving and warm. My thoughts go out to my cousins Joe, Tony and John, their families and specially with Tia. RIP Michael.
I’m deeply saddened to hear of Michael’s passing. Michael and I met when we were tender teenagers. I’m sure he grew to be a fine man and made his friends and family proud. I will miss his smile and laugh and the special joy he brought to my life. My prayers and thoughts to those who loved and were loved by Michael.
I had the privilege in knowing Mike during the late 80’s and he was like an extension of our family. Full or warmth, laughter, and loved people. He will be always in my heart forever, and the family as well.
