Michael Daniel Lundy
elevated OdPtg God called Michael Daniel Lundy peacefully on December 13, 2023 at the age of 76. He will be forever missed by his loving wife Monique. Cherished by his dear children Jennifer and Patrick (Christine). Adored grandfather to Erin. He will always be remembered by his siblings Maureen, Kevin and Colleen. Michael is now reunited with his parents William and Mary; and siblings Thomas, Teresa and Joseph. He will be held dear in the hearts of his nieces and nephews, family and many friends.
elevated OdPtg Visitation will take place on Thursday December 21, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. at the Holy Cross Catholic Funeral Home (211 Langstaff Road East).
elevated OdPtg The funeral service will be held on Thursday December 21, 2023 at 12 noon in the Chapel of Saint Joseph located within Holy Cross Catholic Funeral Home. Entombment to follow at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery (8361 Yonge Street). In memory of Michael Daniel Lundy, donations can be made out to the Alzheimer’s Society.

Maryann and I send our deepest condolences to you, and to Mike’s extended family. You are in our thoughts and prayers. We have many happy memories of Mike and his wonderful sense of humour.
We enjoyed watching the smiles on our children’s faces, when Mike would unexpectedly take a fall into the swimming pool fully clothed. The many times he would wear his Egyptian loose-fitting galabeya garment, and turban, when we arrived for dinner. Our children’s favourite memory, is when Uncle Mike would pretend to push our car off the driveway, when we were leaving their home.
His favourite snacks were ice cream, muffins, and chocolate, and yet he maintained his youthful slim build. To this day, we can’t figure our how he did it. We will miss him dearly, but are blessed that he left us with so many wonderful family memories.
May he rest in peace.
