elevated DGmUB Obituary

elevated DGmUB It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved son, brother and uncle, Michael Anthony Fellin, on the morning of October 23rd, at Vaughan Hospice. After a fierce battle with cancer, Michael passed away surrounded by his loving family. He leaves behind his mother, Lidia, sister, Caroline, nieces and nephew, Claire, Celeste and Adam and loyal dog, Buddy, along with aunts Bruna, Luisa, Olympia, Rita and uncle Silvano, and many cousins and friends, all of whom miss him dearly. He is predeceased by his father Joseph, aunts, Lina, Maria Grazia, Yolanda and uncles Luigi, Silvano, Beppino, Ezio, Paolo, Carlo and cousin David.

elevated DGmUB Michael’s life touched so many people, and he will be profoundly missed by those who had the pleasure to know him. He will be remembered for many things, his bright mind, sharp wit, loyalty, exceptional good taste, and great faith.

elevated DGmUB We would like to thank all the family and friends who supported Michael and our family during his journey, your presence brought us great comfort. We would also like to thank the great staff at Sunnybrook Odette Cancer Centre, particularly Dr. Lott, for the kindness and care they gave Michael as he underwent chemotherapy, the staff on the oncology wing at Markham Stouffville Hospital, Evergreen Palliative Care team who helped us fulfill Michael’s wish to stay at home as long as he could, and the staff at Vaughan Hospice for the compassion and care they showed our family during Michael’s final days.

elevated DGmUB We miss Michael more than words can express. Our only solace is in knowing that he no longer suffers and is at peace, somewhere running marathons and climbing mountains. We love you, Michael. Until we meet again.
