After a fierce battle with cancer, Michael passed away surrounded by his loving family. He is predeceased by his father Joseph, aunts, Lina, Maria Grazia, Yolanda and uncles Luigi, Silvano, Beppino, Ezio, Paolo, Carlo and cousin David.
elevated gr57Q Michael’s life touched so many people, and he will be profoundly missed by those who had the pleasure to know him. He will be remembered for many things, his bright mind, sharp wit, loyalty, exceptional good taste, and great faith.
elevated gr57Q We would like to thank all the family and friends who supported Michael and our family during his journey, your presence brought us great comfort. We would also like to thank the great staff at Sunnybrook Odette Cancer Centre, particularly Dr. Lott, for the kindness and care they gave Michael as he underwent chemotherapy, the staff on the oncology wing at Markham Stouffville Hospital, Evergreen Palliative Care team who helped us fulfill Michael’s wish to stay at home as long as he could, and the staff at Vaughan Hospice for the compassion and care they showed our family during Michael’s final days.
elevated gr57Q We miss Michael more than words can express. Our only solace is in knowing that he no longer suffers and is at peace, somewhere running marathons and climbing mountains. We love you, Michael. Until we meet again.

Michael’s commitment & perseverance of his sport’s and passions were always inspiring. I will cherish our many moments at the Fellin kitchen table catching up and sharing a good laugh before Caroline & I went out for the night! I will remember Michael the caring Uncle of Claire, Celeste & Adam at many a birthday party with our crew throughout the years. From our family to the entire Fellin family we share in your grief & we are with you whenever you need us to cry & smile over the wonderful stories we have shared over the years. May the road rise up to meet you Michael, and the wind always at your back- Heartfelt Love – Lewin, Gwen, Finn & Eva

When I first moved to Unionville after Grade 3 Micheal became my first friend as I played soccer as the new kid on the team his father coached.
That relationship set me up for success when school started in the fall.
For that kimdness I have remained grateful for all these years.
Rest in peace Michael and thank you for being you.
A lot of years can’t keep the old gang from being there for each other.
I’m in Nova Scotia but I will be there for Mike.
A few years ago Mike told me that in Grade 3 he chased me on my bike not to scare me but because he liked me! He was jealous of Gerry! We laughed at many old times!
My condolences to your family and I wish you peace!
Sending my sympathies to you Caroline, and your mother, along with Claire, Celeste and Adam. Michael fought so hard right to the end. I hope he is at peace now. Sending you all strength.❤️
We will miss you very much Michael. The world has lost a bright light. Heaven has gained a devoted warrior with an indominable spirit. Your strength through your ordeals was inspiring. We love you always.
Michael had many gifts and he was generous and happy to share them. His goodness was especially apparent in his family. We mourn losing such a wonderful friend but know Heaven is richer for his presence. May he rest in peace.
Dear Lidia and Caroline,
I am so sorry to learn of Michael’s passing.

Maybe just maybe Chloie is there to keep him company on his runs. God bless your family.
The world suffered a great loss. Words don’t do justice to the type of man Michael was. He brought love and joy to us all. May God bless his soul and his family.

When you are sorrowful look again in your heart, and you shall see that in truth you are weeping for that which has been your delight.

Michael’s life brought joy, love and delight to everyone that knew him. The remembrance of that will be with us always.
Dear Lidia and Caroline,
I was so heartbroken to hear of Mike’s passing. He was such a great friend and we shared so many good times growing up! He was always so kind and supportive. One of my favourite things about him was his adventurous spirit. Open to everything and everyone! Please know you are in my heart and thoughts during this most difficult time. An unimaginable loss comforted by the legacy he leaves behind and the love he continues to shine.
