It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Michael Mereweather. Loving Husband, Father, and Grandfather, Michael passed away with family by his side on October 14th, 2023. He is survived by his cherished wife Valerie and his beloved children Corie (Leigh), Ryan (Sheryl), and Cherie (Christopher). Adored Grandfather of Alesha, Aaron, Ayrika, and Isabella.
elevated IbPy4 Dear brother to sisters Suzanne (James), Marie and brother to the late Jean. Michael was born September 8th, 1947, in Ottawa, Ontario and grew up in Hull Quebec. Eventually moving to Toronto, where he met his wife Valerie at work. Michael worked in the packaging industry most of his life. Upon retirement he found himself working at a golf course to fill his time and get a few extra rounds in. Michael will be fondly remembered for his love of Golf, fishing, and the music of Bob Dylan. He had a sarcastic sense of humour, an unwavering love for his family and “cooking with beer”.

Mike – Mikey – always had great stories to tell, was a real character! Loved his family & his friends. He will be missed by all. Our deepest sympathies to Val & family
