He is survived by his cherished wife Valerie and his beloved children Corie (Leigh), Ryan (Sheryl), and Cherie (Christopher). Adored Grandfather of Alesha, Aaron, Ayrika, and Isabella.
elevated 2UnYY Dear brother to sisters Suzanne (James), Marie and brother to the late Jean. Michael was born September 8th, 1947, in Ottawa, Ontario and grew up in Hull Quebec. Eventually moving to Toronto, where he met his wife Valerie at work. Michael worked in the packaging industry most of his life. Upon retirement he found himself working at a golf course to fill his time and get a few extra rounds in. Michael will be fondly remembered for his love of Golf, fishing, and the music of Bob Dylan. He had a sarcastic sense of humour, an unwavering love for his family and “cooking with beer”.

May God bless and keep you always
May your wishes all come true
May you always do for others
And let others do for you
May you build a ladder to the stars
And climb on every rung
May you stay forever young
Forever young, forever young
May you stay forever young
May you grow up to be righteous
May you grow up to be true
May you always know the truth
And see the lights surrounding you
May you always be courageous
Stand upright and be strong
May you stay forever young
Forever young, forever young
May you stay forever young
May your hands always be busy
May your feet always be swift
May you have a strong foundation
When the winds of changes shift
May your heart always be joyful
May your song always be sung
May you stay forever young
Forever young, forever young
May you stay forever young
Just as you wanted. Bob Dylan’s Forever Young.
