elevated xAISd It is with extremely heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our father, Michael Polidano, on Friday November 15th, 2024 at the age of 77. He peacefully passed away at home due to heart failure.
elevated xAISd He is survived by his wife Patricia Jean Polidano (nee Peddle) of 55 years; his children Lisa Hefford (Johnnie) and Michelle Sutherland (William); his two grand daughters Abygail and Gwenyth Sutherland.
elevated xAISd Michael lived a full and happy life. He loved to travel, especially to his home country of Malta. He loved to work in the garden and to tinker with all of his tools in the garage. You could always strike up a conversation with Michael if you discussed the TTC (Toronto Transit Commission), hockey or football. Michael was a retired proud member of Local 113, after spending 32+ years working out of Roncesvalles Division.
elevated xAISd He will be fondly remembered for his smile and generosity. May God always keep him.
elevated xAISd In honour of his memory, donations can be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Alzheimer’s Society.

My deepest and most sincere condolences to Michelle, Lisa and the extended Polidano family on this profound loss. “Mr. Mike,” as I affectionately called him in high school, was a wonderful man, and always made me feel so welcome. Such a cheerful soul, I distinctly remember having a conversation with him about a barbershop pole in the basement. HIs presence will be deeply missed.
