elevated BUwzU Peacefully passed away on October 17, 2021 at the age of 89.Beloved husband of the late Concetta and caring and devoted father of Russ (Carmen). Proud Nonno to Michael (Amanda) and Daniel (Emily) and BisNonno to Georgia and Eloise. Michele will be lovingly remembered in the hearts of many family and friends. In Memory of Michele donations may be made to the Lung Association.
elevated BUwzU The family will receive friends at the Holy Cross Catholic Funeral Home 211 Langstaff Road East (west of Bayview Ave.) from 2:00 -4:00pm & 5:00- 8:00pm on Thursday October 21, 2021. A Private Mass of Christian burial will take place within the funeral home in the Chapel of St. Joseph on Friday October 22, 2021. The final rite of committal and interment will take place privately at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery (8361 Yonge Street Thornhill). Dear Russ, Carm, and Family,
Our sincere condolences for your great loss and ours too. Uncle Mike will always be remembered as a kind, gentle, and compassionate man. He readily shared his knowledge of wine making, olive preserving, and growing sicilian eggplants, which will be forever remembered but never matched. We will cherish the many beautiful memories we have of Uncle Mike throughout the years, celebrating together, sharing his wisdom and experiences, and most recently, enjoying an afternoon playing bocce by the lake.

I was always so happy when I got to see him, I loved him very very much. He was such a loveable and sweet person, it was hard not to want to squeeze him every time I saw him.
