Miguel passed away peacefully at Humber Meadows Long Term Care on Tuesday February 18, 2025 at the age of 84.  He was born in Italy on November 21, 1940 in Gioi, Salerno to the late Giuseppe and Mariannina (nee Scarpa) Passaro. Miguel will be reunited in heaven with his loving wife, Blanca (nee Silva). Father to Jose (Patricia) and grandsons Noah and Luca. Miguel will be dearly missed by his devoted brother Mario (Esther). Brother to the late Carmela, Carina, and Jose (Mariela). Miguel will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews and great nephews in Toronto, Uruguay and Italy. 

Miguel immigrated to Canada from Montevideo, Uruguay at the age of 32, full of hope and ambition.  He worked hard as an auto body mechanic for many years. He was a man of few words, but had a quiet and strong presence.  

The family would like to extend their gratitude to Patricia Paez, his dedicated caregiver for many years and to the staff at Humber Meadows Long Term Care. He will be missed by all who knew him.
