Obituary
It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend….Michael Hugh Greene.
elevated Mc1ex On Friday, October 14, 2022, Mike went to join Joan, the love of his life, in heaven. He is also predeceased by his parents: Charles and Anne Greene, his brothers: Charles (Elsie), David (Elaine), Joseph, and Paul (Janie), Peter, and his sister: Kay (Frank). He is also predeceased by his first son, Michael Carey Greene.
elevated Mc1ex Mike is survived by his beloved children: Michael (Ilana), Christopher (Michelle), and Frank. He will be dearly missed by his grandchildren: Cody, Jesse, Kristina, Spencer, and Maya. He has been a cherished father-in-law to Lisa. He is also survived by his loving sister, Rose.
elevated Mc1ex To know Mike, was to instantly love Mike. His gentle and kind ways made him a friend to all. His jokes and his made-up little songs are infamous in our family, and will live on for generations yet to come! He told stories of the past with passion as if it had just happened yesterday…and we all loved to hear them (even if we had heard them a million times!) He supported his children and grandchildren relentlessly and unquestionably. He rejoiced in seeing them succeed. Mike’s strength and perseverance in times of adversity in his life, were an example for us all.
elevated Mc1ex It’s hard that he will no longer be with us, but we take solace in the knowledge that he will be forever happy with his Joanie and forever in our hearts.

Sending love and condolences to the entire family. I was lucky enough to have Mr. Greene be like a second father figure to me while growing up as friends with his two youngest boys.
He was one of the most jovial people I have ever known.
Chris and Mike. Thank you for allowing me to share in knowing your dad while we were growing up. Your dad was an incredible influence to us all.

A perfect example of a true gentleman. He was one of the nicest people you could ever meet yet you knew underneath there that he was as tough as nails. Mr. Greene will be missed by all who knew him.
