elevated j7ozU Mary-Helen Monette (née Murphy) died peacefully on December 19, 2022. Mom to her children, Nana to her grandchildren, and Aunt Butch to her nieces and nephews.

elevated j7ozU The only child of Bernard and Mary (Walke) Murphy. Mary-Helen married the love of her life, Michael Monette (d. 1997), in 1957. Together, they had seven children: Bernie (Angela), Chris, Pat, Peter (Vivian), Brian (Sue), Gen (Mike), and Sheilagh (d. 2020). Mary-Helen was a proud Nana to twelve grandchildren.

elevated j7ozU Mary-Helen was a modern thinker and a lifelong learner. She was a gifted conversationalist with an incredible memory and love of history. Early in her married life, she was a working woman, proud to say she worked for Honeywell on the Avro Aero project. She was known to have a green thumb and enjoyed taking care of flowers that needed extra care. Mary-Helen was a faithful person that always lived the life she loved, and we will all miss her dearly.
