Eternal Rest grant to him Oh Lord, and may Perpetual Light shine on him. May he rest in Peace. Amen.
A kind and helpful person.
Though I only had the pleasure of meeting him a few times, Neil was someone who instantly made you feel comfortable. He was so vibrant, charismatic and kind. I will always remember and be grateful for the time my house was broken into and he and Donna welcomed me into theirs until my alarm system was up and running.
I am so deeply sorry for his loss. They don’t often make men like Neil nowadays.
My deepest

Dear Donna, Meghan, Jodi, Brad & Garett:
We are so sorry that Your Husband & Dad has died. We can only imagine the pain of your loss.
We all fondly remember Neil as our “big cousin,” full of life and knowledge that we all wanted to know. He always accompanied our uncles when they visited and we all looked up to him.
Our hearts go out to you and your families. Gary and I were hoping to see him at our cousin’s wedding last October and were looking forward to our next visit. So much grief. So much sorrow. We can never replace him but know that we are here when you need us.
Much love always Juana & Gary, Gary Ronson, Rachel & Keira. 🤗🤗❤️
Neil was a great dad, husband and friend. I was really happy to have met him and gotten to know him. My deepest love and sympathy to his family, especially Jody, Donna, Meg, Ryan, Jackson and Abby. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

To Donna and Neil’s family, I am very sorry for your loss … for our loss. As I think of Neil today, one thought is that I wish our paths had crossed sooner. As a colleague, I admired his leadership and that he made work fun. As a friend, I loved that he cared so deeply for people – co-workers, friends and family. I will remember his sense of humour, accompanied with twinkling eyes and a mischievous smile. I will remember his kind and gentle heart, and his always available listening ears. I will miss you my friend. Rest In Peace.
My deepest sympathies to Jody and her family at this time. My heart goes out to all of the family. God Bless you all, and give you the strength that is needed at this time of great loss. Rest in peace!
I was friends with Neil in Trinity College in Trinidad, Neil was very good to me and even protected me from danger as i was younger. His sister Chrisentia was married to my elder cousin Ramesh, and i was introduced to Neil at their wedding. We reconnected on whats app a couple of years ago, and i was blessed to have known him. Condolences to his wife Donna and the family. May Neil rest in peace.
Deepest condolences to Neil’s immediate family and extended family. There was a special bond between Neil and his family. I experienced, lived and felt part of that bond for 25 years of my work career. Others felt it too. From a work perspective, we shared the same values to try everything in our power to do right thing and help navigate companies, customers and partners through insurance software. Not the most exciting topic to most, but if you ever talked about reinsurance or earthquakes, Neil would get excited and talk your ear off! Sometimes (many in early days) our missions meant late nights away from our families. We both thrived on that adrenalin and then the sweet sense of accomplishment nailing a demo. I also had the opportunity to travel the world with my dear friend for work and pleasure. We always had a blast with so many belly laughs and memories I will always treasure. Neil would often come to me for gift ideas and would always think of his girls before himself. That’s who he was. If I suggested he get something like a smart watch for himself, he would research for years haha. It was easier for him to give. His last words to me will forever be remembered as he always lovingly referred to me as his “work daughter” and then “work sis” as I aged. He was precious to me too. Rip
Donna, thinking of you & your beautiful family.
I’m so sorry for your loss.
Praying for your strength & comfort reminiscing the wonderful happy times shared with Neil.
Love, Joanne

Donna, My deepest condolences to you and your family! Sending a big hug to comfort you in this difficult time!🫂❤

Dear Brother and friend, you’ve gone to your long home. May peace be with you.
Condolences to the family from Kilwinning Lodge.
Godspeed my dear Friend and my Brother. Neil was both, and the best one could ask for; I was blessed to share our brotherly love. His gentle kindness and unwavering strength of character gifted all whom he touched in his life. As a friend he was caring, thoughtful, supportive, and steadfast, regardless of life circumstances. As a Mason he was a leader who inspired each of his Masonic brethren in his gentle, kind and supporting manner, in his commitment to Freemasonry and his brethren, and in his unwavering dedication to excellence in West Gate Lodge. Neil was a man of deep conviction and of ready compassion, dedicated first and always to his love of Donna and his wonderful family. He left us far too soon to be with God, but in living gave each one he touched the finest memories of a man of great courage, of grace, and of love. Neil, rest now my Brother, your love and the warmth of your signature smile will remain with me until we meet again. My deepest sympathies to Donna and the Sammy family in this time of loss. Wishing you Gods peace and healing.

Our deepest condolences to you and your family, Donna. We were so sad when we heard that Neil was very ill a few days ago. Although our connections are mainly when we see each other at friends’ gatherings we admired how devoted you both were to your Faith. I remembered you mentioned that you attended Sat. Mass when you arrived, and I smiled as we always go to Mass before going to parties etc. Donna, this Faith and your love for each other, will help you through this difficult time. May God grant you courage and peace. And may God grant Neil eternal rest. God bless you and your family.
From primary school Neil was always witty and ebullient. He did not change.
The service was beautiful and soothing.
My condolences to his wife, children and grandchildren.
RIP Neil

Dear Donna and family,
We are saddened and shocked to learn of Neil our musician friend passing.
We have fond memories of Neil during our many jam sessions that was organized by Winston Yee. It was more than the music we shared as Neil conversations and sense of humor were aways delightful. Neil was a great person overall and was never afraid to express his valid opinions. He is gone way too soon and will be missed but not forgotten.
Our heartfelt condolences goes out to Donna and the families at this somber time with the loss of your beloved Neil. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
Wishing the families fortitude and love to carry on especially Donna and the grankids with their lives.
May Neil spirit Rest In Peace in Gods kingdom with timeless harmony and be reunited with his other loved ones.
Sincerely,
Maurice Lee and Elizabeth Gonsalves.
My Brother, it’s been 2 months and I’m still finding it hard. As much as you tried to prepare us for your transition. I continue to get flashes of the shared meals, the hysterical laughter and ole talk that stretch throughout your entire home on those days, hitting me when I least expect. I had always promised you that I will stop procrastinating from tomorrow, so in true fashion I’m only now getting around to expressing to everyone how much you are missed.
Your true Joy in life was Your Faith, Your Family and a Few other Favourite Things, like Football, Kaiso, Parang and Pan. Always very attentive at mass with the encouragement of a well-placed elbow to the ribs. And pilgrimages must have been a joy wagering who would be that one person to always be the last on the bus.
You lived your life with a sense of community and embraced and accepted my family for who we were, even when we were late with the callaloo. Bro. it was a privilege to have known you, and be considered as part of your circle.
You rejoiced and celebrated in life’s gifts and accepted all its challenges with a quiet grace that we should all be striving for. Never one to be complaining that the world will not devote itself to making you happy. I guess that came from, as your daughter said, your belief that God gave you just enough of everything.
So.. I know you good. I could just see you cracking jokes with the Angels, pretending to play the harp while you lead them in song singing. It is well, it is well, with my soul….
I just learned the news ☹️ I had a great time working with Neil at Guidewire, he was a truly team player, always there to help, very knowledgeable and a really good person to work with!
My condolences to Neil’s family, he will be remembered 🙏🏼
