elevated SkjJR It is with heavy hearts and a profound sense of loss we announce the peaceful passing of Nicodemo ‘Nick’ Sansalone on January 2, 2025, at Cortellucci Vaughan Hospital at the age of 89. Devoted husband of Anna Maria Carmela, loving father of Frank, Rosanna (Paul), Sandra (Lenny), and Pina (Joe), proud Nonno of Erica (Cole), Lucas, Rachael, Sarah (Renato), Emma and Andrew. Brother to Carmelina (late Stefano), Giuseppina (late Nicodemo), and Alberto (Anna).
elevated SkjJR Nick was born in Mammola, Reggio Calabria, Italy and immigrated to Canada in 1960 in hopes of building a better life for his wife and future family of four. A barber for over 60 years, he believed in providing the best customer service to his clients, whom he considered friends and extended family. A Montreal Canadiens and Torino FC fan to the core, he also had a passion for Italian opera and gardening. Most of all though, his life centered around his wife, children and grandchildren, imparting to them many words of wisdom and just generally making them laugh.
elevated SkjJR Nick will be sadly missed and held dear in the hearts of his many extended family and friends. He will be lovingly remembered and never forgotten.
