Dear Meng and family
I am in utter shock upon learning of Mitch’s sudden unexpected death. My prayers go out to you all. Looking across at the piano organ will never be the same as I will always picture her sitting there, hearing her play and sing at Masses Funerals Weddings Prayer group vigils etc.
Take comfort in knowing that Mitch now lies in the bosom of Our Lord.
Eternal rest grant unto Mitch O Lord, let perpetual light shine upon her, may her soul through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen
Love Peace Blessings
Heather Heath-Abraham 🙏✌🏻💖⚘
God bless your soul. Your friendship will always be remembered and felt… Rest in God’s love ……Tita Mitch .
Dear Meng and Family,
It is very difficult to believe that Mitch is no more. She is very close to my heart. We both with Fr. Joseph began the Novena to St.Anthony. Also the Monday Prayer meeting. St. Anthony took her to heaven on Tuesday. It’s a miracle of St. Anthony. For nearly 8 years we both did the Novena. Jesus and Mary look after you and your family. God has a plan for everyone… for you and me. Can you join me to carry on with the Novena? God Bless You all.
Our condolences to the Chavez family and relatives. It was shocking to hear of Mitch’s untimely death. My mom and I will miss hearing her beautiful voice. She was very talented and I am forever grateful that I had the chance to thank her in person for offering her musical talent for Our Lord Jesus Christ. She will be greatly missed at St. Anthony’s.
Eternal rest grant unto Mitch, O Lord, and may Your perpetual light shine upon her. May her soul, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.
Rest in peace Mam, we love your voice during the novena mass of St. Anthony every Tuesday. We will miss you . Thank you for sharing your talent. God bless your soul.
Mitch was my favourite singer of all the singers and choir leaders at St. Anthony of Padua Parish. I was shocked to hear of her death!! She was a most amazing and dedicated talent. I will sincerely miss her beautiful voice. My deepest condolences to her husband, Meng and her entire family. God please grant her eternal rest. I know God now has a wonderful addition to His choir of Angels. Mitch will be sadly missed.
Deeply saddened on hearing the sad news. Our deepest condolences to the family. Also St. Anthony’s faith community.
Her beautiful voice will be missed.
Eternal Rest Grant Onto Her Oh Lord.
My sincere Condolences to your husband, family and friends. I’m very saddened by your sudden passing. May You find Eternal Rest and Peace at the Side of our Father in Heaven.
RIP Mitch 💔🙏🙏🙏
Dear Meng and family. I am so sorry to hear of Mitch’s death…. quite an unexpected shock. I am presently in the Azores therefore, will not be able to attend any service, to my regret. I wish I could be there and support you as Mitch and you supported me when my husband Joe died.
My prayers are with you all and my God give you strength through these so difficult days. Thinking of you and your family.
Dear Meng and Family
Sending our Love and deepest sympathies.
You and your family will be in our thoughts and prayers.
May Eternal Light Shine Upon Our Dear Mitch…
Rest in Perfect Peace! 🙏💜🕯️
Dear Meng and family , we are sorry to hear about Mitch’s passing, she is with our Lord now and looking down on us, may her soul rest in peace.
Our hearts were broken when we learned of Mitch’s passing. It is indeed a very sad time for her family and for us – the St. Anthony community. Each time Mitch played for us, we witnessed her love for the Lord as she poured out her heart through her music. She always had everyone singing along and we always felt inspired afterwards. She made Mass so spiritual and enjoyable, and truly had a gift from God which she so willingly shared with all of us. For that, we are forever grateful, and she will be so dearly missed. Our prayers are with Mitch’s family during this time of loss.
Dear Meng, T.P., Essen and family,
Words cannot begin to express the sadness we have at the passing of Mitch. From the moment we met in January 1992 till today you all have always treated us as family and through it all have supported me in any situation.
I am truly grateful that my kids have been able to grow up with role models like you, with all the love and support you have provided them; always embracing them with open arms and pulling them to family.
Mitch you will be truly missed, your voice is irreplaceable and you will always be in my heart. Never forgotten ❤️
With Love, Ludy, Kristina Robert & Ryan
Dear Rommel and family,
Like everyone in the parish, we were shocked to hear of the sudden passing of your beloved wife and mother, Mitch. Sadly, that beautiful voice and musical talent, which has been a fixture at St.Anthony’s since its inception, will be no more. Our thoughts and prayers are with you through this difficult time, and although we are unable to say our personal farewells, we will be with you in spirit.
Condolences to the Chavez family.
Was saddened to hear of Mitch’s passing. She had such a beautiful voice. Will remember her at 12.30 choir Sunday and St Anthony’s Novena on Tuesday.
Mitch loved the church . She not only shared her talent but her time . I saw cleaning and mopping the floors of the church.
Rest In Peace Mitch, you good and faithful servant.
RIP Mitch. God has a place in heaven for you. Our prayers are with the family
Dear Brother Rommel, Thomas Paul & Essen Joy,
My prayers and my deepest sympathy are with you at their sorrowful time. Mitch was truly a woman of faith and commitment of service to St Anthony of Padua parish. We give thanks to the Lord for the richness of her life shared by her talents and gifts with us. May the Joy of our happy times with her be a source of comfort and consolation. Eternal rest + grant unto her as she sings her praises to God for all eternity. Thanks be to God!
My deepest sympathy to all family members. St. Anthony will not be the same without Her. May She rest in peace.
To the bereaved family of Mitch, our heartfelt condolences. A good soul is now with our Lord. Life is short and Mitch gracefully exit on a divine mercy time and the day of Saint Anthony where devotees gather for novena prayer, which is a tuesday, where she herself usually plays the organ and leads the community singing with the heart, pleasing God. Mitch is a blessing to her family, her friends, the parish community she served with love and compassion. I thank God, i was able to connect with her before she signed off.
To Rommel and family, we pray with you, “May eternal rest grant unto the soul of Mitch, Lord and let perpetual light shine upon her. May she rest in peace. Amen. “

Dear Rommel and family, it with sadness that we learnt about Mitch’s passing, from Joe, a guitarist, who mentioned this to us last Friday.. Many years ago, I used to play acoustic guitar in your choir. We do fondly remember her – particularly “O Holy Night” one Christmas mass/concert. We will remember Mitch ,and you all, including your choir, who no doubt, wile have an emptiness in your hearts.
