elevated LuZcJ With sadness, we announce the peaceful passing of our dad, Pasquale (Paolo) Conforti on March 15th 2023 at the age of 88. Loving husband to Rosa (Antonietta) for over 60 years, adoring father to Rose (Peter) & Teresa (Frank) and cherished nonno of Quinn and Jayden. Pasquale’s life was blessed with a large loving and supportive family that was treasured by him. He was predeceased by siblings, Giulia(Ciccio), Franca (Gino), Antonio (Vincenza), Michele (Maria) and is survived by his siblings Carlo(Ruth), Silvana (Joe), Concetta (Luigi), Lina (Gino) and many nieces and nephews in Italy and Toronto. In 1935, Pasquale was born in Rogliano, Calabria to Giuseppe and Rosina Conforti. Pasquale spent his youth apprenticing to be what would afford him a long and successful career as a Barber. In 1958, at the age of 23 Pasquale set sail for Canada to start a new life and create his own family. The quest began in Perth, Ontario working as a barber and later Fort Williams (now Thunder Bay). In 1961, he would relocate to Toronto where he met Rosa, they soon married and began their family all the while starting his own business. Pasquale was a stoic man with a passion for soccer and the occasional cigarette.
