Dearest Wilson, the Aqui family, Susanne, Michael, Pelham Jr, Keith, Cherryl and the Chang family,
A few days ago I received the very, very sad news of the passing away of Patsy, beloved wife of Wilson, Mom to the Aqui family and sister to the Chang family.
Please accept my deepest and heartfelt condolences.
As I journey down memory lane, I only have joyful memories of the close bond of our two families. When you and your family were still living in San Fernando, often my Dad would drive us to your home and we would share goodies prepared by your Mom or our Mom. Years have passed, your family relocated, you were married to Wilson, I left Trinidad for Montreal and now am in Hong Kong. Even if I did not have the chance to meet your children and lovely family, I have heard happy news about them from my siblings.
When I returned to Canada last January I was so touched that you wanted to attend my Mom’s funeral but was unable to. I was ever more determined to see you before my brief stay and thanks to Cherryl’s assistance we had the chance. What a great joy when we saw each other again, after all those years. That evening visiting with you, Wilson and some of my siblings were precious moments that will remain etched in my heart. We conversed as if no time had elapsed between us and it was such a pleasant evening. It was hard to say goodbye but we had promised to keep each other in our prayers. Patsy, you will be missed but you remain forever in our hearts.
Certainly, Patsy is now in the loving embrace of Our Heavenly Father for the good life full of love and care which she showed to all of you and to everyone. She was such a joyful, lovely and loving person.
May Patsy rest in eternal peace. May all of you have strength, receive comfort and consolation in this moment of great sorrow.
My deepest sympathies to Lester and family. May your mom rest in peace.
I would always remember the marathon telephone chats that Mrs. A. and I shared over the years. Lots of laughter. I would miss that.
To Mr Aqui, Lester, Patrick, Lorraine, her grandchildren and the rest of the Aqui clan my heart felt condolences to you all in the passing of the Matriach.
‘I will raise her her up on the last day’ – Our Lord will do just that.
My deepest sympathies and condolences to Lester and family. Sorry to hear about your loss.
Condolences to you uncle Wilson and the entire family. May her beautiful soul rest in eternal peace.
