elevated zPOZB Paul Joseph Lundy was called by God peacefully on December 25, 2023 at the age of 88. He will be forever missed by his loving wife Carole. Cherished by his dear children Michelle (John), Robert (Autumn) and Christine. Proud grandfather to Sean, Evan and Michael. Paul will always be remembered by his siblings Vaughan (Loretta) and Terry (Late-Vivian); brothers and sisters in-law, nieces and nephews. He will be held dearly in the hearts of all his relatives, and many friends.
elevated zPOZB Paul was born, raised and spent most of his life in Toronto before moving to Richmond Hill after retirement. Paul had a very rewarding career teaching at William Lyon MacKenzie Collegiate where he developed and maintained lifelong friendships. He was happiest in the company of family and friends; socializing with his hockey buddies, travelling, watching sports and keeping active skiing and partaking in adventurous walks. Paul made a great life for his family and created cherished memories which will last forever.
elevated zPOZB The family wishes to thank Dr. Berger and his exceptional Palliative Care Team at Mackenzie Health and Hill House for their compassion and care during Paul’s last days.
elevated zPOZB In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Paul may be made to the Hill House Hospice or the Canadian Cancer Society.
May his memory be blessing to you forever.
He was a dear friend and I will miss him.
My heartfelt condolences to the Lundy family. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.

While Paul sings with the choir of angels, we remember how well he served others with love, respect, justice, and joy to enhance their lives.
Carole and Family: Growing up close to each other, Paul and his Brothers, Vaughan & Terry were like the “little” brothers my Husband, Bill never had. Over the years we have had many wonderful times with Paul & Carole with fond memories. Rest in Peace Paul, you will be missed. Love: Pat Poole and The Poole Family.
My condolences to you Aunt Carole and all the family. I have some very fond memories over the years of all the times the extended family came together to celebrate and make great memories. Such as Christmas over the years, the Lundy Picnics and yes even the time when I was 10 years old up at Cannon Cottages in Bancroft, learning how to waterski. Uncle Paul will be dearly missed. I pray that you and the family will find strength and peace in god’s love. May Uncle Paul rest in eternal peace.
To the Lundy Family:
My deepest condolences to you at this time. May Paul rest in peace and may his memory be a blessing that will last forever.

Mr Lundy was my accounting teacher at Mackenzie in the mid-90s. I remember him being very kind and fair. My condolences to his family.
My deepest condolences to Carole and family during this difficult time. May he rest in peace.
Our condolences Carole, Michelle, Robert, Christine. So many fond memories of our children growing up in Blessed Trinity. Thanksgiving at the cottage, walking the woods singing “Love letters in the sand”. Paul was a soft spoken, kind, disarming man who had the ability to put all at rest. Our love to all Fran and Lloyd Cooper
My heartfelt condolences to Carole, Michelle, Christine, Robert and the rest of the family!
I’m so very sorry for your loss!
I met Paul only a few times in Canada, but I felt right away what a wonderful, hospitable and witty person he is, with a great and fine sense of humor and a twinkle in his eyes!
I’ll always treasure the few wonderful days together here in Germany Black Forest and lake Constance when he toured Europe.
Es war schön, dass ich Dich kennenlernen durfte!
In Gedanken bei Dir und Deiner Familie
Beate
Our condolences to your family. Mr. Lundy was a kind, caring, and thoughtful person. We will always remember his wit, humour, positivity. He will be missed but never forgotten.
Dearest Aunt Carole, Michelle, Robert and Christine,
Sincere condolences on the passing of Uncle Paul. Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.
Sorry to hear about Paul’s passing. My thoughts are with you and your family.
Mr. Lundy was my Accounting teacher at Mackenzie in the mid-90’s. I remember him always being very kind and fair. My condolences to the family.
To me, Mr. Lundy (never Paul) will always be the magic wintry light of a 7am hockey practice, and the pat on the back and the encouraging words at the door going on or coming off the ice; the hours splashing on the grass at the edge of the Lundys’ backyard pool, playing tunes too loud, sometimes accompanied by hidden hedge beer (in case he got home earlier than expected); my introduction to go-karts, and boat-driving, unwittingly teaching me to love the smell of boat gas, and camp fires, and Pic smoke rising from a card table over a cribbage game, after a rewritten-Paul Simon-singalong; he’s Rocky III, and a white knuckle car-filled ride ‘home’ from the theatre on black winding cottage country roads; he’s getting a turn ‘driving’ the Aspen wagon on Jennifer (was it?) ‘the small street where it’s still safe for the 11-year-olds to steer the car’ with the other kids all piled in the back; or he’s that time when Rob and I were 14 or 15 and Mr. Lundy screeched around the corner, to find us walking along Forest Grove, without a care in the world at 5:30am.
Dear Carole, Rob, Christine, Michelle and family – thank you for sharing Paul with me – he was a big part of my childhood, and I will never forget him.
Carole, Michelle, Rob, Christine and family,
I’m so sorry for your loss. Cousin Paul will be remembered for his kindness and genuine warmth, and the lives he touched. Sending love and strength your way.

Our deepest condolences on the passing of Uncle Paul. We have very fond memories of the times we spent together at Christmas time, family celebrations, and picnics. Such wonderful times. Uncle Paul was so kind-hearted, he will be dearly missed.
I remember the time when I was a young girl at the Cannon Cottages in Bancroft, and my dear uncle teaching me how to water-ski, some days we just cruised the lake. Very memorable time for me.

Paul was one of the most decent persons I have ever met. A beautiful “river skater” as a hockey player and according to my kids a good guy in the classroom. Rest easy Connie, I am sure you will find a game in the sky.
Carole, Michelle, Robert and Christine:
My sincere condolences on your loss. Paul was had a great sense of humour. He will be missed.
Tim Lundy and family
I am so sorry for your loss. My heartfelt condolences to you, Mrs. Lundy, and the entire family.
I was so very fortunate to spend time with Mr. Lundy tagging along with Michelle to a cottage weekend, dinners at the house and even the movies. He was kind and witty and so interesting to talk with. It warmed my heart to be referred to as “the 3rd daughter” to such a lovely person. I will miss him dearly. May he rest in peace.
With deepest sympathy,
Rosa

Carole, Michelle, Robert & Christine: words cannot express how deeply sorry we are for the loss of Uncle Paul. i will always remember his rosy red cheeks! He was always energetic and funny! we always looked forward to our summer trips to Ontario and have many fond memories of the “races” in the pool. Take care of each other like you took care of him
There’s something special about the families that you grow up with – people who know not just you, but your parents and your siblings too. Mr. Lundy was a special character from that time for me. He was the dad that always cracked jokes, that made it easy to talk and never let on that he knew what we were up to. At today’s visitation, the room was filled to overflowing with people whose life he had impacted. He was a special man. Condolences from me and the rest of the Xuereb family to Mrs. Lundy, Christine, Rob, Michelle, and the rest of the family.
