elevated CePno Obituary
Paulo, a cherished husband, father, brother, and uncle, passed away peacefully on May 27th, 2024 at the Margaret Behan Hospice, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories. Born to Virginia and Antonio, Paul was predeceased by his beloved parents, along with his brother Antonio whose children, Tony (Sandy) and Dany carry him in their hearts.  He will be deeply missed by his devoted wife Dina and adoring daughter Candida. Dina would like to thank Rosa and Dominic Giancola for their care during his illness.

elevated CePno Paul’s family was his pride and joy. He leaves behind his dear sister Conceiçao and her husband Fernando, who shared many cherished memories with their children Susana(Tiago) and Paul (Fatima). He also leaves behind his sister Natal and her husband Mario, and their children Ricardo (Sofia) and Patricia (Carlos), who held a special place in his heart. His brother Joao (Filomena), along with his numerous children, will fondly remember Paul’s kindness and warmth.

elevated CePno Paulo had a passion for Terceira-style bullfighting, where he found joy and excitement. A devout fan of the soccer team Benfica, Paul’s enthusiasm for the sport brought him closer to friends and family alike. The family would like to thank the Portugalia Bakery in Bradford for being one of Paul’s favourite places to spend time with friends. The family would like to extend a gracious appreciation to the Bettencourt family for their love during his illness and to thank all of his “grande amigos” for their support.

elevated CePno In celebrating Paul’s life, let us remember his vibrant spirit, his unwavering love for his family, and his zest for the things that brought him joy. Though he may be gone, his memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

elevated CePno In lieu of flowers the family asks for donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Margaret Behan Hospice in Newmarket.
