It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Pierina with family by her side in Vaughan at the age of 86. She was born in Belsito, Cosenza, Italy to Giovanni Bruno and Maria (nee Macchione). Beloved wife of 61 wonderful years to Italo who in January 1963 got married in Toronto. Loving mother to Rudy (Maria) and Giovanni (Antonella). Adored Nonna to Isabella (Nahum), Matthew, Gianluca and Massimo. Bisnonna to Matias. Sister of Francesco (deceased Rosetta), Gaetano (deceased Maria), Carmine (Gina), Cesare (Lina), Gina (deceased Antonio), Rosetta and Giuseppina (deceased in 2015). Pierina will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by all. In memory of Pierina, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
