elevated eqEht It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Pina Santina Gazzetta, On Tuesday April 28, 2020, In Richmond Hill, Ontario.Beloved Wife and best friend of Maurizio for 42 plus years. They meet in grade school, and have been sweethearts ever since.
elevated eqEht The most caring and loving mother to her three children, who adored her so much. Michelle (Marco) Marchione, Diana (Philip) Ciarabellini, Mauro (Alessia Burbello). She was a doting Nonna Pia to her two grandchildren, Eliana and Alessandro, who she lived for and loved so much. She will forever be the baby of her Seven Mete Sisters.
elevated eqEht Pina will always be remembered for the love she had for her family and friends. Her selflessness showed in every aspect of her life. She was given the nick name bowl of sugar by people who had only just meet her. To have known her was a blessing. No matter what trails she was forced to fight in her every day life she always took the time to send all her loved ones messages to show them she was thinking of them. A mother is always known as the glue that holds a family together, but Pina’s had an extra special strength. She always knew how to make everyone come together, make them feel special and loved, encouraged them that they could accomplish anything, and always had a little funny joke or one liner to make everyone laugh. Her family looked up to her and admired her strength and determination to keep fighting and pushing through, she was truly and inspiration, the best role model any child could ask for. Her good morning and good night messages will be truly missed. They will now be replaced by the sweet little signs we know she will be sending everyone who’s lives she has touched. Forever in our hearts and in our beautiful memories. Thank you for being you.
elevated eqEht Due to the unprecedented circumstances surrounding COVID19, the family will be having a private service and entombment on Saturday May 2, 2020 at 12:00pm. For those of you who wish to attend via webcast, please contact the family for information.

I only met Pina through the stories that Liz gracious shared with me. There is no doubt that Pina was a force of love for her family. Especially her 2 wee grandchildren. She fought very hard to overcome the physical hardships that came her way and fight them, she did.

I remember well, the day we met and looking forward to the day we meet again.
To enjoy another one of our wonderful tea parties, the 4 Amigas.
Our last one planned for February , had to be cancelled due to circumstances out of our control.
We rescheduled but it was not meant to be.
I remember our last conversation a few weeks ago, with fondness.
We had a lovely conversation and shared so much laughter.
I cherish our friendship, the memories and the time we spent together.
